The Importance of Mindset

Postby sean bridger on Thu Feb 12, 2009 10:16 pm

Hi Guys,

I have been an inactive participant here for far too long so I thought I would come and say hi and introduce myself. There is many great people on this forum and I hope I can help out anyone in need. I have been studying mindset and personal development for a few years now and rate it as the most important aspect of becoming successful.

I am currently reading (well re-reading) Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and The Science of Getting rich by Wallace D. Wattles. In SGR the chapters 4, 14 and 7 are a great resourse to read every day to gain massive momentum.

I have just added them plus another 22 other free ebooks to my blog that you can download. Most of the Ebooks cover mindset/personal development, internet marketing, and also trading (I trade currencies so I thought others may be interested). They are all free.

If you would like these Ebooks feel free to go and download them. If you want to make a difference in your life spending half an hour a day is a great way to keep your focus and manifest everything you want in this world. I hope that helps

Think and Grow Rich.......an awesome book. I just started reading it, and see the tremendous value in it.
And Lawrence......great comment, great comment, great comment. Chapter 15 is a stunning eye opener! It definitely reveals the ghosts in our life. Let's just say BOO and get rid of them. We can't let them boogie men get the best of our mindset.
Are you wondering why I have read chapter 15, if I say I just started reading it. I'm reading it with a group and thats the chapter they were on. :)

Hey, stay focused,

Hi Guys,

Yeah as we know mindset, positive thinking and autosuggestion go along way to helping us reach our goals. Lawrence, I'm with you on chapter 15, self analysis can sometimes be daunting but in order to move forward it is needed. Becoming aware of our fears is the quickest way to riding ourselves of these fears.

No worries about the free ebooks, the more people that can benefit from these books the better. :D
Sorry about not having a pic up, for some reason it wont upload, and it is in the size dimentions as well. I've submitted a ticket though so hopefully you can see my ugly mug soon enough, haha

Have you guys heard of Bob Proctors 6 minutes to Success? If not there is a free 17 minute video from Bob that is awesome, you have to check it out. I do this every morning and it rids me of my limiting beliefs and stacks positive habits one on top of the other each day. If you want to check it out go to

Think and grow rich is a must read for anyone who is going to achieve a high level of financial success.

I have not read the science of getting rich yet, but it is on the list!

Welcome to the community!

Thanks for adding value by offering those free e-book downloads. Yes I agree with you...your mindset needs to be right, especially in Network Mktg...I am currently reading "What to say when you talk to yourself", it's amazing book and I totally would recommend it, also it's a very little book, you'll probably finish it right away.

Mindset is key to success no matter what you are trying to achieve, not just on network marketing. Personal development and self analysis are key to reaching higher levels of personal and financial success, it is funny how closely they are related.

Both books are awesome and have read them a couple of times and I may start reading again, I think each time i read them i get something new.

I have actually written down some quotes and ideas from Think and Grow rich and I do read them every morning.
