It seems to me that everthing about MLM is geared to getting as many people as possiable to try to work for you and simply ope for success...
If you were working a traditional sales or any company this way you would not last 2 months...
Is there no place for the word "No!"?
Ought not some reps or would be reps be told no this is not the company for them?
Would it not better the MLM industry as a whole if even 25% of the unsuccessfull 95+% were told no?
Are we all so accustome to this way we are scard to say no?
Is there legal pitfalls to saying no?
It seems to me if there was a new company in the MLM feild that had some kind of advance screening process(not that I know what it would be) and turned people away... In the end they would have fewer reps leading to more success and less people to do anti scam pages on them ect...
I mean this is such a... colourful market and people often try to gain success in a new company by bad mouthing the old...
Have you ever told a rep that was willing to sign no? Have you implied No? Would you? Ever?

Re: Is 'No' Ever the correct Answer?
Yes, as a matter of fact, I have told prospective reps that I didn't think this was the right business for them. Why try to lead them down a road they aren't wanting to go? It's bad for them and bad for me. What goes around, comes around....
On the flip side, I've seen countless people who I knew had the right stuff (willingness to learn, hard-working, self-disciplined, sharp, etc) fall by the wayside for some of the simplest reasons... so I've given up predicting other people's success!

The beauty of being in your own business is to qualify your team members. Knowing their mindset, work ethic and why they may even consider your opportunity is all part of the process.

yes,
better to say no then keep going round in circles. it is your business and you decide who you want to work with. unlike a traditional business where the boss tells you who you are working with whether you like them or not, whether they are lazy or incompetent, you have no choice, you gotta do what the boss says. otherwise its adios amigo.
sometimes we forget it is our own business. great topic for discussion.

I never actually say the word "no," but it is pretty clear that many people do not qualify for my time.

Good point Robin. That is one of the points I was trying to make in my thread "MLM vs. Wage/hour". I mentioned that MLM was one of the worst performers in the U.S. and even the world. At least 80% of the people in MLM should not be in MLM. They do not want to invest the time in growing a business. Treating recruits as numbers produces the 95%-99% failure rate in MLM.
If your service or product helps small businesses, E-mail me at Justice44@rocketmail.com and explain how it can help. I may know someone who may need it.
