I have been trying to figure out how to get a button or link to give to people to get the 50 pts for a referral to Better Networker.
There is an old video on youtube, but it references a prior version of this site.

Can anyone help?

Hmm it seems as if this information is not available right now. Before it was right on your profile, there would be a button that said "Invite" and it would provide you with the html code and some links. However I do not see it anymore.

Since BN has redesigned their site they have been missing a number of things that they seem to have just been neglecting for some time now. For example, if you try to view someone's blog and article posts on their profile, you can't anymore. Although you can still submit an article - it is not possible to view them. So this lack of an invite button is just another thing to add to the broken check list.

It seems they have left BN for dead.

Lack of new members makes for bad news.

I myself even copied the code from some else s' old button, and inserted my link but that is not the link to refer someone. It's useless.

If your aim is to get credit for the 50-points for referring people to the Better Networker online community, the simplest way is to type the following URL (you must actually be logged in to your member site for this to work):

http://www.betternetworker.com/invite

From the aforementioned site, you will be prompted to send an email invitation to your prospective new member, so of course you must have the recipient's valid email address.

I ran across this post today while seeking an answer to the same question. The first thing that comes to mind is setting up a capture page to promote BN without disclosing the website, then take the incoming emails and put them into the invite page manually.
