Roger,
Regarding the time change, Pacific is two hours earlier than central and 3 hours earlier than eastern time where I am.
The corporate webinars are Mondays and Wednesdays. Our team has webinars several times a day, so maybe we are on the same team and that is the webinar you are referring to?
Many blessings.

I've looked at this program, too. It sounds similar to those shopping mall programs one can give away, and then you earn commissions on whatever is purchased through that mall portal instead of going direct to X store. However those are free to join or else ridiculously inexpensive, while this one is not. I wondered what members actually RECEIVE each month for their money beyond the right to give away the iJango web portals.

Re: iJango
Hi Carolan,
Love your name. I've never seen it spelled like that before.
The way I understand iJango is that it is more than shopping. I don't actually like those shopping mall things myself. iJango has partnered with hundreds (soon to be thousands) of entities as affiliates to earn commissions for searching, clicking and also purchasing. The customer does not pay anything for the portal and it will help them organize their internet experience. I'm looking forward to the organization myself as I usually have several browsers open and now I won't need to do that. I can put my Twitter, Facebook, bank, news, anything I want on my portal.
The $19.95 monthly fee is for the website and back office maintenance. The actually websites and back office will be available August 1.
Hope that helps!

Re: iJango
Linda...My legal name is Carol, but I go by Carolan for several reasons. One is that there are just too many Carols out there, and several with an online presence with same last name as me. So I altered it and much prefer CarolAN.
In fact, you know me and we have some online connections, Linda. I heard about iJango through you (I'm on your list), and knowing you as an experienced and successful marketer, I took a look.
Like most people, I have a (free) web portal that I've created and make adjustments to regularly. Mine is with Yahoo, and I have my bookmarks and links saved there by category, along with other widgets for news, etc. So I wondered...how is this iJango portal different and why would I want to change what I have already created to get it? even if it WAS free? And if I don't know that answer, then how would I show others why they wanted or needed it. While in some ways it sounds impressive, guess I am not seeing the big picture. Confused.

Re: iJango
Ok, so I just watched some youtube video that explains the portal some more and basically what I got out of it was the start up fee is $150 bucks with a $20 monthly fee. Of course when you bring more people into your network the more money you make which will eventually pay the monthly fee off on it's own. I can only envision network marketers getting into this and using the portal. One thing that the video keeps saying is "habitual" and the person is right. The general population are habitual and cheap and will stick to the cheapest thing and their current way of getting around on the internet. To me the majority of the people that sign up are network marketing people trying to get there friends and family to sign up so they can make money while their friends and family probably won't want to learn a whole new tool that costs money and most likely will not get into the business. Who wants to pay more money to use a portal when there are free ones already out there like iGoogle? Is this just a big ball of HYPE or is there real potential........? That's my 2 cents

The Service is FREE!!!! and it makes life so much easier on those that love social networking. It allows its' users to have all of their social networking sites, shopping sites, news sites, etc. on one simple page instead of having to open up a million different pages to view their stuff! The only thing that isn't free is joining up to be a Director (allowing you to become a part of the company and MAKE CRAZY MONEY off of what other people already do on the internet daily)
iJango is providing a great FREE service for everyone to use, there is no purchase necessary to use it!!!
I think it is a brilliant idea, and for those whom love Network Marketing, it is a great new way to make money!

Re: iJango
1. there are many companies doing this (pageflakes, and now yahoo). these guys aren't the first one to 'think of this'
2. google "ijango scam" and you'll see at least 3 articles on this
http://www.clicksniper.com/ijango-scam-cameron-sharpe/
http://www.mlmblog.net/2009/07/who-will ... scam-.html
http://ontopresultsllc.com/news/2009/07 ... caladlink/
It's a pyramid scheme
3. they're throwing the name Google around like if they did a partnership. They're CLAIMING that Google is now a partner with them. YEA RIGHT!
4. If you google Ijango or Ijango scam you will see a WHOLE BUNCH of pages/websites they created to combat the negative press BEFORE EVEN LAUNCHING ON AUGUST 1. That is a REALLY BAD SIGN
5. look what the poster Kim wrote on this article post
http://hubpages.com/hub/Ijango-Review
and check out the post from travlr
http://www.mlmstuff.com/forum/mlm-netwo ... jango.html
6. this is a get rich quick scheme....and those promoting on this forum and others are LAME, and just as bad as the founder of it. Google his name also
Cameron Sharpe
there are lots of complaints against this guy, and how he took money from people, and went bankrupt....owed about 20k in child support...etc..etc

Re: iJango
Personally, I've learned to take advice only from those who are in life where I want to be or one who has a stake in my future. Many people give advise freely, but it's based on their opinion which could go either way. The question that's always in the back of my mind is what if they're wrong? How would you feel if iJango took off and turned out to be one of the most successful companies in the history of our country but you turned it down because of someone's uneducated opinion? Back in the 60's, I'm sure that warnings of one loosing everything and waisting time were issued all over the country about Amway. Today it's a multi billion dollar industry. Just a thought but don't listen to me. I don't have a crystal ball or all of the facts!

Re: iJango
that's the reasons why people get ripped off
1. when it's 'to good to be true...it's not'
2. when the founder of Ijango has a LENGTHY HISTORY of taking money and filing BK when they try to sue them.....
yep keep on drinking the koolaid
I know a lot of Ijango folks want to keep this down so THEY CAN MAKE MONEY
Instead of trying to look at FACTS you guys would prefer to drink the koolaid then try to water down the RECENT history of it's founder.
Tell me your friends, and I'll tell you who you are.....

Re: iJango
My husband and I have some very wealthy friends that own local businesses, and they showed us iJango. They never do MLM's and were very excited about this one. To make a long story short we all signed up thinking that we were giving people a customizable web portale for free. Well that's what iJango says you're doing, but to make the BIG BUCKS you need to recruit, recruit, recruit...After doing some extensive research on Cameron Sharpe I didn't want anything to do with this company. I can't honestly in good conscience recruit people to help men like Cameron Sharpe make money. And, yes I have read his side of the story and agree that everyone makes mistakes. I still am not interested in being involved with a company that he is a part of. If iJango is a success then great. I am happy for the people it helps. I personally will not continue to promote iJango.
By the way in Cameron's video promoting iJango he says he had retained the finest attorneys in the world and filed patents on this idea. Well if you look up the United States Patent and Trademark Office website http://www.uspto.gov and search for patents on iJango (pending or complete) there AREN'T ANY. There aren't even any rejected (abandoned) files in regards to patents on iJango. Interesting, huh?!
Also, Cameron says in this same video that the top ten websites are: Google, Yahoo, YouTube, Facebook, Live, MSN, Blogger, Wikipedia, Baidu, and Yahoo Japan. Now when I googled the Top Ten Websites for 2008 or 2009 I didn't find all of these websites in the Top Ten. I did find Goggle as #3 in one of my searches though. Anyway, if someone finds this list let me know.
If you are interested in learning more about Cameron Sharpe the following link has it all. There is even a link to Cameron's side of the story in the article.
