Totally New!

Postby Melissa Murach on Tue Aug 04, 2009 9:26 pm

Hi Everyone!

My name is Melissa and I am completely new to everything! By that I mean I have three young boys ages 3, 1, and newborn, so I'm pretty new at parenting. I am also here because I have just started my own home based virtual assistant business and I would like to learn something about network marketing as I am new to the concept and need to "get with it" to get ahead and find clients for my business. Right now I am working with a few musicians (bands) doing their booking, PR work, Promo materials-webpages, presskits, cd/dvd duplication and graphic artwork. I am also doing bookkeeping for one trucking company and some webpages for others. I have so much more to offer and I am always looking for new challenges = new clients! I am hoping the things I learn on this site will help me to market my business to the right people. Any advice is very welcome!

Hello Melissa,

Looks like you are off to a great start, already have a few bands, and companies. If you learn as much as I have from BN you'll be doing fine.
All the best.

Hi Melissa!

WOW! You have your hands full :) Congratulations on your new baby!

You're off to a great start with your home business! Sounds like a really cool business! You're definately not doing the same thing day after day.

I'm totally new at all of this network marketing too. It's definately a whole new world. But, this is a great place to learn to build your business the right way.

Let's chat and help each other out. I'll fill you in on some of the great tools I've plugged into so far that have really helped me both personally and for growing my business.

my only suggestion as I am in your boat. spend as much time as you can with your little ones. they change so fast.

Hook up with a mentor and your road to learning will be much faster

Welcome, Melissa. Congratulations on the newborn! Three kids under age 3? Wow!

I believe Better Networker is a good website to teach you not only how to market yourself, but how to outsource virtual assisting work to others. Eventually, you may want to do this if people need the phones answered but a baby is crying in the background. Conversely, there may be some people in this organization that may want to hire you to do some of our "grunt" work. Finally, you may want to transition to network marketing over the Internet in order to make residual income.

One last thought: Hope you're nursing. :D
If I give you $125, can you earn $75? Of course you can, especially if I teach you how! See http://tr.im/vm14

Hey Melissa,
Welcome to BN. I would also reccommend a copy of Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring. It's a must read for anyone owning any sort of biz, not just online. Your in the right place for info, there is so much to learn here from all the members and instructors.

To Your Destined Success,
