what happens when you know your product/management/comp plan all suck and you're still trying to deliver it? Is that posturing or lying?
Hey Tony,
I think the best thing to do when all that stuff sucks (which should seem pretty obvious) is to change it. You're not married to your company. To me, it seems more like a dating relationship. You get together and feel each other out. If everything works out for a while, you take it to the next step and get a little more seious. And if that works out, THEN you get married.
But based on what you're saying, it sounds like you're in a bad marriage that you just want to stay in. I mean, if it wasn't working out when you were dating, what makes you think a marriage would work?
And to tie all this into posturing, I couldn't possibly posture if I knew that all this stuff sucked. THAT would be lying. If all this stuff is great and you know it's great you don't really have to posture. People will just start being attracted to you.
This spawns a whole new thread, I'm starting one in the next 30 seconds. It's called, "Why You Don't Have To Posture to be a Magnetic Marketer."
