Re: I'm Looking For A New Company... Why Yours?
I can sell anything.
It's all about the people you're attempting to serve.
IDIOTS!
WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THAT YOU DON'T MATTER?!
You are in business to satisfy the needs of your customer.
If you sell carpet, does that mean you must need carpet every day?!
Do you have to be passionate about it?
Do you have to brand yourself?
I think not.
Your company doesn't matter.
Your product doesn't matter.
YOU DON'T MATTER!
All that matters is whether or not you can help your customer
get what they want.
Everything else is positioning, marketing and sales.

I almost forgot.
I don't know you.
I don't care who you are.
I don't care what you're looking for.
What can you do for me?
I don't know you.
I don't care who you are.

Re: I'm Looking For A New Company... Why Yours?
Hey Derek, Hope you are doing well. I am involved with a company that has a great comp plan, great leadership, tremendous value and the best part is that they teach you how to get your thinking right before you do anything else! If your thoughts are not right and you do not have dreams and a great belief system in your dreams- you can not be successful. They teach you - you need to be successful before you can make money. Also when you believe in something- you will be able to see and realize it!
If any of this makes sense to you and you would like to talk feel free to message me anytime.
I hope you find what you are looking for and make it a great day!!

Re: I'm Looking For A New Company... Why Yours?
To me it's all about the compensation plan. After all, I AM doing this for the money.
Short Story:
Average NM company needs 2000 Active Reps in your downline to get to $10K per month.
Mine needs 350-400 to his $10K per month. (Let's make it 500 just for the benefit of the doubt)
Why do 4 times the work to get the same income?
Good luck making the best choice for you...

Hi Derek,
I'm not currently in a biz op but I have been in a few.
In my opinion, Edward Elliot's answer was the best posted on Nov 9th.
Rule #1 - If the management is not accessible and transparent to people in the company, don't even waste your time regardless of what anyone says.
There are good businesses out there. Do not rely solely on replicated websites.

Re: I'm Looking For A New Company... Why Yours?
Derek, thank you for asking a great question. I think you are asking for a specific name, so I will accept the challenge. With the highest respect for others here and the companies they represent with great passion, I will carefully share my reasonings for joining the company I did.
My background is from Wall Street, where I spent many years running my own investor relations business. My success in the business, as well as any securities analyst, is determined by the company you are representing or putting your name on when making a specific recommendation. You are only as good as your last call....so you need to do your homework. One of the most important components in making a commitment to any company is based upon attempting to correctly identify trends. "The trend is your friend".
For instance, I sold my last home in the summer of '05, at a tremendous gain and entered the foreclosure assistance business thinking that might be a growing trend. I currently do not have a mortgage. Does that make me a genius? No,as we all are subject to making a commitment to something and end up closing out the position from some faulty initial reasoning. It is more than once I bought a stock at $10.00 and sold it at $8.00 - realizing later - I was wrong. But sometimes, trends become so obvious - they beg to be followed.
I am relatively new to network marketing and made a brief stop off at a coffee company - thinking that coffee is a somewhat recession proof business being that it is addictive and the second most consumed commodity on the planet behind oil.
The company is what I consider a "good" company with a long track record and substantial revenues, etc.. But, is "good" - good enough - when you are going to spend 2-3 years (or more) building a business? What kept nagging me was the question, "what is the ultimate product that people will continue to purchase no matter how bad the econony could be become?"
The answer - for me - is food. In fact, food with somewhat of a shelf life.
So what are the ingredients I was looking for to make the business make sense to me? Without getting into a full dissertation here, I will summarize; Branding is extremely important. What is the brand and how well known is the name? Next, what is the product in the face of potential economic hardship? And finally, what is the timing - what does the possible growth/population trend look like?"
I joined Trump Network because of the brand. The Trump brand is known internationally. Ultimately, Donald Trump will take the name Trump Network into every home in America and around the world.
Next, the product line is -for today - food. It is primarily a "weight control" program. When I opened the starter box, however, I realized that the contents were exactly what I was looking for. A box of nutritional food, with a relative shelf life in case of emergency. In fact, it contained everything except a flash light and emergency radio. (there is more to this, but not for here)
Taking my beliefs about the opportunity in Trump Network, I had the good fortune of enrolling internet guru and MLM - VIP - Bill Ganz (whom I previously did not know) to Trump Network. This marks the first time Mr. Ganz has ever enrolled as marketer/distributor in any network marketing company. After several face to face meetings with him, I was able to reason with him that this is the company he needed to "put a stake in the ground with his name on." He agreed. (Please view press release at my profile page)
For today, Trump Network offers a nutritional line that goes "in the body". Tomorrow, the product mix is likely to be much more. Time will tell. But for now, what I do know is that Donald Trump is a fierce competitor and I would rather join him than fight him (trend). Everything about the company has (to date) proven to me to be first rate, blue ribbon, 5 star.
And finally, timing. With only some 15,000 marketers in Trump Network (as it was recently rolled out on November 13th) it is possible that several millions could come to this movement over the next several years. This naturally remains to be seen - but it is certainly within reason and joining now makes tremendous sense in regards to timing.
I hope this answers, in some fashtion, the "why" to your question, as well as to others who come to this forum seeking honest, reliable, information.
Best regards,
Hoot

Re: I'm Looking For A New Company... Why Yours?
Honestly,
Its all comes down to YOU liking and believing in the product you are selling. If you can do that then you can be successful in any company you join that has the structure setup the right way.
Good Luck

Hi Derek,
In a nutshell, since you're looking for a company be sure it's a 5 pillars company with a 100 year marketing plan. If that doesn't make sense, and you'd like to know what the 5 pillars criteria is, send me a private message.
