I just recently had to cancel a system that costed me $50 per month. I didn't get to the point to where I could market it because my "mentor" wasn't available and setting this up is so confusing. I'm not very computer or tech-savvy.

Any others that are affordable and can be integrated with Aweber and I can customize with videos, pics, etc would be grateful.

Oh, and someone that can help me set it up step-by-step would be a huge plus.

Laura, please share with us which one you cancelled so that you aren't pointed in the same direction again.

Regarding the training you say you need to get - the system I use has the most fantastically easy-to-follow video tutorials that guides you and sets you up to work the system very easily. If I can do it, so can you. It can also integrate seamlessly into Aweber.

I hate to say it, but there isn't a "system" out there that will help you with the real issue.
Not be overly presumptuous, but simply based on your comments ...
It wasn't your "mentor's" fault that you didn't have success with that system.
It's Yours.

Now I know I may catch a lot of shit for this, and I'm ok with that.
Because it's the truth and everyone needs to hear it - not just you.

Sure I could get on here and tell you everything's going to be ok and try to sell you some stuff that should make it easier ... but that won't solve anything. I mean be honest - Will It?

In fact I could offer to set the whole thing up for you, for free even.
So what about when you do get it setup. Then what? Now you have a "system." Will that solve it?
I argue - No, No it won't.
And here's why ...

If you really wanted to make that system work, I'm willing to bet they had plenty of training videos available, and an affiliate program, and plenty of other people using the system, wherein you could have found the answers to your questions if you really put forth the effort. And the affiliate aspect would have covered your expenses within just getting a few people.

Not to mention this forum. You've been a member here since last July. On any given day you have hundreds of people here from all over the world, using hundreds of different tools and strategies and marketing methodologies and systems. I'm sure someone here could have helped you.
The point is ... Your "mentor" didn't matter.

Like I said, I know you probably think I'm a world class a**hole by now. But that doesn't change the facts.
Your success is 100% based on you and you alone. No mentor or system or program or cheaper funded proposal will change that.

I have to say that I really agree with Richard, Laura.
I've been saying the same types of things for a while here, and people just don't want to hear it.
It's easy when things are going well to talk about positive mindset, persistence, etc.
But it's not so easy when things suck and there's no end in sight.

You should see where I live.
Yet I still get on the forums, write the articles, set up my blog, hired 2 people, etc.
MY BUSINESS WILL SUCCEED BECAUSE I HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO.

When you cut yourself off from all possibility of escape from your situation, you WILL rise to
the occasion and do what must be done to accomplish your goal. When you have made that decision
to attain you goal at any cost and your position is inescapable, and the only way to go is forward, the
universe itself moves to make way for you, and all types of people and things will suddenly appear to
help you on your way. I don't know how or why, but there is the infinite power of the universe contained
in the decision of a human being who has made up their mind to make something happen.

There is no known power strong enough to counteract a decision made and committed to by a single
human being.

You'll find what you're searching for.
Make up your mind. Make a decision. Commit to it.
Then begin. Your success is simply a matter of time and effort.

Sometimes the truth hurts but it must be stated.

My son has spent days lately helping set up a funded proposal system for one of his members. She started off like a ball of fire, sponsored 1 person and then dropped out, all within 2 weeks. It wasn't because she didn't get help from her upline, it might be that she got too much help.

True leaders will figure things out, help or no help.

Richard you are dead on! I have found that if you really want to be successful you absolutely have to create your own funnel, that brands you. It's important that you are viewed as the expert and leader if you want people to join and follow you.

Provide valuable content prove your self. Create your own marketing funnel that will give you credibility and brand you as the expert. There are plenty of courses out there that show you exactly how to do that step by step if you don't already know.

The MLM Biz Builder is one of them. In my opinion its the best but I have to admit I am a little bias for the obvious fact I help create it.

Hi Laura,

Everybody needs a system. But a system is not going to help you if you do not take massive action to master it.

Richard hit it right on the nose. You can buy into a system but unless you take action and apply what you learn you are just throwing money away. Mentors, and forums like this are here to guide you, not hold your hand.

You can buy the best baseball bat on the shelf but if you don't learn how to use it and practice your swing you will never hit the ball! A good coach (mentor) can show you how to do it but if you don't hit the batting cages and practice (apply) it is a fruitless endeavor.

Answer this question. What do you want to do to become an effective marketer? Do you want to use internet marketing? If yes, find a system that teaches you step by step how to accomplish that goal.
Once you find the right system are "You All In"? (thanks for that one Dave)

Learn -> Apply what you learn --> Track your results --> Reevaluate --> Go back to step one

Once you find a training system or an eBook or video series that helps you understand the process of creating and carrying out a marketing plan. You take action!

Then you spread the word to everybody that needs help and you market the tools that helped you get there and earn a profit from that while you continue to grow! Find another tool, learn it, apply it, and market it!!

System: Set of detailed methods, procedures, and routines established or formulated to carry out a specific activity, perform a duty, or solve a problem.

Everybody has a system! Unfortunately there are also a lot of people claiming their system is the answer to all your problems. Slick marketing that leads you to believe that you don;t need to work. JUST PLUG IN!

Look at your system as a step by step list of how to execute a plan. Before you enroll in someone elses system make sure it is at a level you can handle and above all make sure it is a road map to making you a better marketer.

Make sure it covers the processes below:

Your Processes
The things you will do in your system
1. The learning process
2. The sales and marketing process
3. The enrollment process
4. The leadership process

It all comes back to you. It is your business and your success lies in your willingness to find systems that work and fine tune them to fit your strengths and weaknesses.

All the top leaders learned how to do it somewhere. They found good systems, and eventually created their own system to teach others.

I love when people use the marketing line:

People don't fail! Systems do!

Sorry folks but the best system in the world is useless if the people don't use it. sure some systems are better than others but in the end it is up to you!
