Hi Peter,

Dean is right. Try to join conversations or perhaps try to create something to talk about. It's easy to post questions. I'm sure there's someone here have answers that benefits you and everyone else.

Welcome to BN!

Hi Peter

We are all still learning I think....there is always so much we can learn from one another. Stay open and focused....and be clear about -

1. What you want to achieve
2. How you want to achieve it
3. Why you want to achieve it.

I have found that it is your WHY that has the most power behind it.

Best of luck to you and everyone

Chris

Hi Peter,
There's plenty to learn, so it's great that you're asking questions and ready to receive advice. It does help to have goals- like the ones already mentioned.

Maybe you've already done this, but writing things down and having a plan, like what you want to achieve with your business -- What your budget is -- What kind of marketing interests you most, etc. will help focus your time on BN. Then sharing what you think or what you find on the Internet. Writing is always good. "Content is King." Just do what interests you, then share it with others... and add your own insights.

To your abundant success!

Peter,

I would first start with taking a look at your profile here at BN. Make sure at least some basics and some narrative are in there. You can always go back and edit but at least in the beginning when people want to find out more about you there is something that catches their eye in your profile.

Much Success

Hi Peter! We are all still learning. I, for one, am still learning. The best place to start is right here on the BN. With your experience, you can join in on discussions and give your opinions on several topics. You can ask questions and even get intelligent answers with a little humor with it. This is all fun and a learning experience to be a part of growing ourselves in this business. Pick out a topic or start your own topic and discuss it. Need help in anything? Just ask or just look it up on one of the topics. You have found the best place here. Enjoy!

One of the better things I learned is to relax. Don't sweat the small stuff. Everything is small stuff. Take time off for yourself and your family. I have accomplished more things by not doing anything than when I tried to do everything. Work on learning about this online business, then take off some time, relax. It will be there when you get back. You will have a fresher outlook on things. What you were working on so hard, now don't seem so difficult. You learned something. Life is a journey, enjoy the ride!

Well, Peter, it has been awhile since you posted this article. Yes, I am still learning this business. Over the years of doing this business, I missed the target market that I was identifying with. Most people in the target market do not use computers. I had to readjust and add a phone number to the business cards. Just recently, I just learned that I could not even find my website with the instructions I gave. After all these years of doing one way and now finding out years later something was missing. I got better business cards with the phone number to the service center. I thought I had readjusted for everybody enough. Now, I have learned that you have to put, 'http://' in front of 'www...' of your website. Yes, I am still learning something new all the time!
