I agree with getting my info from where I want it. Living in this information age the garbage heap of useless or skewed info grows and grows. There's SOOOO much "stuff" flying through the air I get protective of my mind and soul.

I was starting to feel a bit insecure that yet another gadget is here and I haven't caught up on the last 5 Thanks for straightening me out guys.

Hi Dee,

I always take time to visit Amazon.com and bestbuy.com. What ever is on the splash page or main page, is probably a new and hot item. Just like the Kindle. I never knew what Kindle is when I was getting emails from people I know asking me if I ever tried one. I checked out Amazon.com and voila! I am updated.

Then there are other sources just like Richard told you:
1. Blogs - especially tech blogs, they give reasonably good reviews.
2. podcasts
3. buy and sell ads - check out Asian market. Like http://sulit.com.ph/. It's a free ad site. Asian market is just a crazy place. If you see a lot of used iPhone's for sale, it is probably because people want to get their hands on the new iPhone 3G!-(just an example) Asian market have this crazy upgrade itch! That gives you a hint that something is about to become obsolete and something new is coming!

I'm new here so hang with me about a couple of things.
First I'm a golf professional, not a bad job but the hours suck, and I'm not getting younger. I am also a MonaVie Distributor, Love It! and that is certainly the purpose of my website. I've tried to make it fun and interesting and hope to help people with their golf game in the hopes that I will be able to share this opportunity with them. Whether they're interested after that is not the point because the friendship has been made. This is just a fun way to build new relationships and talk about things we have in common.
I've done the work myself and am far from done. My brain is very full, kinda like waiting for the Thanksgiving Dinner to settle so you can eat more, lol. Remember, I'm old! I think it's very open and I want people to get to know me. I guess if they're not interested in the things I love they won't want to work with me anyway.
My personal preference is that when I go to a website I want to know what people are offering up front. Hate it when I spend time somewhere just to find out they're trying to convince me to do something I'm not interested in.
Do you think being upfront and real is good? I hear so much of teaser emails getting people to want more but when you're busy you just want people to get to it!

If you pay attention, you'll find that most of the time all you're
gonna get is the smoke and mirrors. If you don't get any real meat
in the first few minutes, you probably never will.

I'm not sure if I'm to the point and interesting in 20 seconds but hopefully when I get my intro video up and running and can welcome people to my site it will interest them. My golf experience and what I've learned about social media is a pleasure to give and hopefully I can welcome them to the MonaVie Opportunity. Be true to who you are and attract those who fit you best, right???

Ha Ha!! I'm a lot like Warren, I spend most of my time at the computer, and don't need all those new tools.

Even when I travel, I take my mini laptop with me, and prefer to use skype to SMS people than using my mobile phone. The internet works 99% of the places I go to. I dislike those little keys on the phone and working out how many times to press to get the right letter. And... then, the automatic word thingo comes on and I have no control at all.

I'm a real techy when it comes to the computer, and other gadgets I can't really be bothered with. I don't think we need to learn about all the gadgets, just focus on the ones you need for whatever you want to do.

My (in their 20s) daughters laugh at me, when I'm using the mobile phone, lucky they know I can use a computer, so they know I'm good at something:-) They often come to me with "how do I do this on the computer/internet", so they've got time to help me with some of the newer gadgets.
