I was wondering if you can help me resolve this debate

How Regular Do You Email Your List?

Some say daily.
Some say weekly.
Some say as and when.

What do you say?

Hi Dwayne,

Great question and one I would like some advice on.

At the moment I am mailing my list once a week with content that I have written for my blog and other hints and tips I find on the net.

Once someone joins my auto responder they are mailed every couple of days at first then it drops to once a week over time.

Be interesting to hear what everyone else thinks.

That's a great question and I've been taught to frequently stay in touch with your list by sending them valuable info, quotes, and updates on anything that has to do with your business, and yourself. Staying on top of your list is a great way to show your value, trust and leadership, and lets them stayed interested in what it is your doing to being successful. Personalize a message for them and keep them informed. I had one of my leads lose a autoresponder that she must of deleted or lost and it had valuable information on there about my business. Since I personalized a message two days ago to her and kept her informed, she felt comfortable enough to ask me to resend her the email with interest, which was today.

You have to stay in touch with your leads to show trust and leadership, that's key, were all here to expand our business and develop our relationship with people. Network Marketing is in the business of building relationships, without that we have nothing to work for...

Hey Dwayne,

Personally I email my list on a daily basis because there is always something that I can contribute and there is always something of value that I can share with people which I know can make an impact on people's lives. Something I recommend people do is that you always want to make sure you are studying and learning new things. The more things you learn, the more things you have available to share with others and be able to give back.

Works for me, may not work for others. Try a few different things out and discover what works best for you!

Hi guys

This is a tricky one which I'm continually monitor, testing and changing!

I send a weekly broadcast out to everyone on my list. This normally includes a bit of news, any offers/promotons I currently have but the bulk of the broadcast is normally an article about marketing or something similar. I try to offer as much value as possible.

I also have my email sequences, so when someone opts in to one of my lead capture page they will automatically receive an email. It's running between 2-4 days at the moment. They will also receive my broadcast.

I must admit I'm still in a quandry about what is the best thing to do. On one hand, if you email them regularly and they unsubscribe at least your list is more targeted and they are of interest in your product.

In the past, when I've received emails daily from people I do tend to either unsubscribe or just not read them.

I think it boils down to the content. Ironically I find I get a much better response from my broadcast's rather than my email sequence.

This is a good question!

You have to test your list many times before to know when to send them e-mails. It's takes times, be patient.

Some even suggest twice a day. At the end of the day, I think it boils down to how good your content is.

I have stayed on a list with e-mails coming 2x a day for a couple of years because the content is good...

I think it is averaging out at emailing your list every 2 days.

Here is another thing to consider.

Does the size of your list matter? (in regards to the topic question)

Does the amount of leads you get coming in on a daily basis make any difference? (in regards to the topic question)

As a company we have a weekly BarterZone post to all our member lists and highlight the new members that join along with a special promotion on a members products, goods or services.

As I concentrate on the real estate and commercial division I feel it important to notify my client list immediately on any important information being made available to me. The reason I do this is because I believe the client has the right to know and i must act straight away, when a client or member has made that mental decision to want to buy or invest, as they too are prospecting, searching, looking everywhere for the best opportunity or transaction in the current market place to invest in. I have learnt the hard way in waiting to email all the member list at once and found a client has committed else where and said you should have let me know sooner.
