Hi folks
I am putting together a book around the 'secret' of Magnetic Sponsoring and wondered if anyone would be interested in contributing which 'secret' they learned that made the difference to them.

The aim is to use as a 'giveaway' to persuade folks of the power of getting the full product. All contributors will of course put in your link to your own business or capture page. Please pm or email me if you are interested as I'd like to get this off the ground sooner rather than later.

Also, can anyone recommend a good source for outsourcing of the capture page to go with this? My copywriting skills aren't the greatest and I want this to be as professional as possible.

When you mention getting the full product do you mean the magnetic sponsoring book? Also what exactly do you mean by the secret of magnetic sponsoring?

Anyone know the best source for creating great capture pages. I have a rough idea of how I want it to look but don't have the 'techie' skills to get it looking on screen how it looks in my head.:unsure:

Dean, I'm not too sure how much I'll be spending on the page (yeah, I know I should have this planned in but right now cost isn't the issue, getting it right is!) but I will check out the sources you mentioned.

Mike thanks for the offer of the templates. I will definitely check them out. I guess I could try to do it myself and let you guys be the judges!

For now, I'm working on setting up the book, the responder series, and a 'look' for the capture page. Also, would like the capture page to lead to a site so may think about setting that up later.

Thanks Mike. Haven't checked my mails yet. Guess it says a lot that checking MS is the first thing I do when I come online. LOL

Glad you liked my post. I think the 'reputation' aspect of success is something I've always believed in. I actually wrote that tagline within a few weeks of starting out. I just didn't know how to go about building it until I found MS!

And by the way, in case anyone is wondering whether I've checked this out with Mike, the answer is yes. Did that before submitting the first post! The last thing I want is to upset anyone here at MS, particularly Mike. And while a lawsuit might help with publicity, like I said 'reputation' is the most important part of success. ;)

And darn it, I've gone again. Maybe I should try a different pic!:side:

Okay I'm thinking about putting a video on the capture page. Is this a good idea? I have no video software so not sure if it's worth having one done with me on it, or putting up one with just pics / screenshots. That I could probably manage thanks to Mike's post on this thread. Great info. thanks again Mike.

Also, as you may (or may not) know, I'm Brit (waves flag fervently) so just wondering if my accent may be a pro or con. I don't really think this is a big issue to be honest but it could be and would be an area to test but then I'd have to get into thinking about voiceovers and that is getting way too technical and in depth for me! Plus, I'm pretty proud of being British. Just that I come from the north east so my accent isn't the same as the Queen's!:laugh:

Okay
I had a go with coming up with my own capture page and as you can see here the results aren't that great!

The pulp minisites had some great designs but they were just that - designs. I guess I need someone who can do the whole deal and put in the words I want to say, the formatting for the submit form, the right fonts, getting the page size right, etc. Right now, none of it 'grabs' me so I doubt it will grab anyone else.

Am willing to give this some more time if anyone has any suggestions but think I'm probably better outsourcing this.
