There"s me....but I am in Singapore, and most of my contacts are in Europe....but I am recruiting world-wide already.

Recruiting is not my problem though...retailing and retention is.

But I am working onthem and I may have a few ideas that help here.

Where are you?

And how many more are here?

Hi Mark,

I'm retailing not recruiting at the moment. The reason being I have only had a few customers on at a time with many one time orders but my organisational costs for websites, training sites, voicenet etc were at times higher than the what I was making.
I have just quit from my organisation so I'll see how I go from here.
For retailing I am still working on my COI at work & also buying leads.
What are ou doing for recruiting?
With our organisation we had to send out a CD with 5-6 hours of info before the prospect found out it was Herbalife. I dont think its working that way.

Retailing:

Well, approach 1 is to do a wellness analysis with tanita scales to show just how over/underweight someone is.

I have done about 100 in the street here (by a bus station) and sold 2 jars of product in 2 weeks.

If i can get someone from my warm market to go through this I convert about 50%, but then it turns out they buy to be polite, and are not really interested in the product....

Also i hav been doing a "survey" to see who needs to lose weight that generates 6-10 leads per hour, but the conversion rate is poor.

I have tried small ads, which have generated some leads but no sales.

There is also a shop concept from Taiwan I have been working on here with my President's team upline, but to no avail. I think we are missing something.

I have hosted Shakes parties and nothing happened (2 sales of 1 can only), and tried the Weight Loss Challenge (plenty of distributors and no-one else!

Hence my interest in other approaches. I NEED somehting that works because I am behind with the rent, etc.

When I hear people speak of how they need desperate motivated people to go beyond thier comfort zone I laugh inside...sardonically.

I know it can be done, but there is something missing...on my way back to the local bus stop...again!

Have you tried the sample pack process?
Here in Australia we send out 1 Day Trial Energy Sample Packs. With 1 protein bar, 1 sachet of Thermo tea, 2 X lift off, 1 formul 1 vanilla, set out as a day program around their normal meals with 10min Herbalife DVD plus a few brochurs & a health survey.

Hi,
I'm a Herbalife distributor in UK, Just joined Magnetic Sponsoring. Been in Herbalife a year and trying everything for retailing and recruiting, and things are moving slowly!
Even with a background in Health and Nutrition, I still find people are sceptical about the products - Dont know of thats a UK thing!

But the products and the company I think are fantastic, which has whats kept me going!

Hello all,

In the Chris Carley organization, 2nd line now.
My opinion, things have just become so complicated over the years, too detailed, so much so that the "fun, simple, magical" concept has been lost.

I won't say that some of the systems aren't working, because I know they are but I will say that I know they don't work the same for everyone and my opinion on that is because everyone's personality is different.

I will say that one thing that makes us different as a company IS the follow up. Sure, some will, some won't so what, next but, if you are diligent about your follow up then you know you've done the best you can and if someone doesn't follow through, that's okay.

My upline (where ever they are now) always talked about how building our business is like going through a deck of cards. In a deck of cards there are always ONLY 4 aces and those 4 aces are who we are looking for. Sometimes, we need to go through the entire deck before we find those 4 aces, sometimes we find them right off.

I don't want to say too much here, not that I don't want to share but for personal and legal reasons I don't say too much publicly. If you want to PM me here and ask questions, please feel free to do so. Please tell me more about yourself, how long you've been with the company, what you're doing that is working and why you feel it is working for you and what you hope to see long term.
