I would have to say Hostgator as I'm running on it.

However, Tom Hua owns a company known as hostingbay, you may want to check it out as he has claimed that there has been no downtime for the last year or couple of years if I remember correctly.. so I guess it would be pretty reliable too.

Just remember not to buy your domains and host from the same operator, not recommended. This is so that should your host ever have any downtime, you could still shift your site to another host just in case! =)

I use hostmonster.com easy to navigate, technical support, host multiple domains for one monthly fee, word press ability, templates provided and much, much more.

The site I have used for over ten years now, is IX Web Hosting. Google the site. I'm not using an affiliate link here. They have unlimited domains, unlimited disk space, unlimited band width, and an excellent service department. In the ten or so years I have been with them, I have been down maybe 3 times, and then only for a short time. These people are very good at what they do. I pay less than $200.00 per year, and they have plans less expensive than that.

Hi Alejandro, there are many to choose from. It all depends on what you want to do, how much bandwidth you need etc. If you are streaming videos from your site and you have a high traffic demand, you may want to go with a 3rd party service provider like Amazon S3.

In terms of hosting, I will list a few of the ones I know who are better, Hostgator (I use them & have done for 3 1/2 years) support is excellent and as sombody else has already said - 24/7. I have also used Bravenet, Midphase and Servage. I hear some excellent comments about Dreamhost as well.

Quite a selection and there are many more thousands out there, just do your due diligence and you cannot go wrong.

All the best

I'm finding Hostgator Support to be excellent - above and beyond. They went all-out problem-solving a frustrating problem: I wasn't able to access the icons on the cpanel (related problems with other programs) and they helped to track down the culprit. Switching out my CA antivirus for Norton cured that and also solved my widget problems in WordPress! This was a refreshing attitude, certainly more appreciated than the "Not our fault" you get from some support people. I certainly won't be looking for another hosting company. Joy

I've been very impressed with the customer service at GoDaddy. 24/7 and they don't get off the phone until you are satisfied.

Sounds like I don't have the tech savvy as some of the other commentators, which is why stellar customer service is the priority on my list. A quick phone call when I hit a road block leaves me more time for marketing and prospecting.
