Yeah, I cannot figure out why it shows a blank page. You can view the page source and I know it's messy. (well actually, I don't know it's messy. but my hosting provider says it is!) But why doesn't the page show up. Anyone know?

Now that I can use FTP (get the flags out) it should be easy for me to re upload when I change whatever it is causing the problem.

Actually, I quite like the page that shows up in both versions. But while waiting for folks to agree their content I've had an idea for something a little different so trying that at the moment!

All will be revealed shortly - and hopefully without HTML! LOL

I would contact Jim Yaghi about this. PM him he has someone that does great capture pages at a reasonable price.

Hey Susan,

Just PM'd you with the private location for the modified capture pages. I got it to work in Internet Explorer and in Safari as well. Sorry it took so long, small error but was hard to find.

I also took the liberty of creating a "test site" where I could play with them and added one of my own. Check the PM for details on exactly where to see the new pages.

Awaiting feedback on the pages...

To cut a long story short - (as if I would, lol)

Went to the shops to invest in a copy of Frontpage. I've lost my copy and despite trying numerous other products, I just can't seem to get a handle on them. Anyway, as luck would have it, the shop didn't have a copy of Frontpage. Sheesh! Obviously, there isn't much demand for it in my neck of the woods.

Out of desperation I bought a cheap little thing that promised to be really easy! Hmmm.

Anyway, 'really easy' it wasn't. And after slaving away all night, (and through a horrendous thunder storm) I have finally managed to create a capture page that looks like Cenay's. Yippee!!! (well it would, considering it was her template)

Bad news is that I am now too tired to fight with the ftp. So I'm afraid I won't be uploading it tonight.

However, panic not. This 'cheap' software gives you 24 hours free hosting to try out your site. So if you're quick you can see it tonight (or whatever time it is where you are). I will get it uploaded tomorrow. Simply click here and see what you think.

Actually just tried it and it needs moving down and to the left, but will have to wait till tomorrow.

So there's my long story cut short folks. Sleep well. And thanks and kudos and love and best wishes to you all. Your support and trust in me goes a long way to helping me push my boundaries. You rock!

Though I never doubted that for a minute. There is something that entrepreneurs have in common, so we can see it in others since we have it ourselves... that's a deep personal desire to do what others (those still working a j.o.b.) say we can't or shouldn't waste our time on. This pressing desire to succeed means we are looking for ways to make ourselves better, more valuable and able to work faster. Yes, I know it seems that this capture page took forever, but think how much faster the next one will be!

So, once again you have proven your "mettle" in the business world and the minds of entrepreneurs. You go girl!

Okay people
I had another subscriber who wanted to contribute to the book but if anyone else is interested this offer will be pulled on 06 May 2008! LOL see how many sign ups we get guys!

Seriously, it's taking a while to get everyone's chapters in there and making sure you all are happy with your content. And while this has given me more time to work on the capture page, I still would rather be out there with 'something'. So if you're not in by the 6th then you're out!

If any of you are good at working with CSS and layers (Cenay, already mailed you girl but others might be able to get you off the hook, lol) could you please tell me how to flipping get the page and all the different layers to be centred? I bought the upgraded version of Frontpage which is Expression Web and it is way more advance than Frontpage. :dry: So I've got the page done and uploaded, but can't get it to centre. (like 3 days isn't enough to learn this stuff) All advice welcome.
