Think about what's the exact thing your best prospect would type in and make that your keyword, like 'how can I find out if a home business works'. Even if it only has 5 people who type that in every week, those 5 will be really hot prospects.

I see a lot of replies that start with "find out what your top 10 keywords are".

hmmm!

Whilst I absolutely agree with this how do people identify those keywords?

Do folk just do a quick search on google using keyword tool?
Do they just 'assume' they know what keywords are working.

Or do they spend some money on adwords, and discover the actual keywords that convert to buyers.
Once you know EXACTLY what keywords and phrases actually convert to buyers then your in a position to pay someone to develop seo content based around those words and phrases. ( or do it yourself)

In a nutshell starting with paid traffic, and then migrating to organic with keywords and phrases 'PROVEN' via the adwords program.

This single step is avoided by the vast majority, saving a few hundred dollars, only to spend months/years developing content around keywords and phrases that dont work....

To start of, you have to have a website, read blogs about SEO, read free ebooks first, and start implementing what you've learned.

Hey Lukas,

SEO is super sexy, in-depth and can be pretty complex.

The best thing you can do, what I´d recommend you to do at
first is to check out some free content such as blog posts, so that
you can receive some basic information.

SEO is all about optimizing your content that would be blog post, articles,
pages and more so that the search engines such as Google want to rank you
higher than your competitors.

Now it comes, many people think they know SEO, but in reality have very
little till zero knowledge about it.

Hope this helps!
