If you are fond of passing out flyers or leaflets, or any other printed marketing materials, then it would be good to add these codes. Make it as an "add-on" strategy, not a main strategy.
Don't expect high response rate since not all people are familiar with it, but by taking chances, there are people who are considered "early adopters" of this practice, and may respond to your marketing.
