I agree. However, I don't see any health wellness companies who are special. Yet, I notice that most of them have a higher price for their products than those sold at retail. Their just another bottle who often claims to work wonders. Perhaps the people I have encountered simply are poor at selling.

I think we would all agree that we will run into many of the same issues in any mlm company!! There is always going to be competition out there! You rarely find a service or product that doesn't have any competitors. I truly believe that everyone has their own niche and own ways of marketing that work for them. I focus more on building my business than the product itself, however i have to believe 100% in the product or service in order to be successful. If something isn't working, find another way of marketing. It takes time and patience. I hope all of you have a prosperous day!! :D

To A Brighter Future,

I have had hundreds of people show me their nutritional wellness products and these issues continue to arise:

1. This MLM/DM product has many competitors in the retail market and the price of DM/MLM product/service is significantly higher than in retail.
2. Distributor fails to distinguish themselves from their competitors.
3. Distributor fails to offer FREE samples to proof how effective they are and how they rate against similar products in the retail market.

I wonder if anyone else has experienced these same issues.

Ray Lewis is using Genewize’s Life Map Nutrition. Life Map is a customized nutritional formula that is based on your DNA. This is a revolution in the health and wellness industry. What is exciting is that the company does not pay professional athletes to endorse the product. With all the products these athletes are given, it is so refreshing to see that an athlete is talking about the product that he uses and his affiliation with the company because “it works”, not because he is getting paid millions for an endorsement. However, Ray Lewis’s endorsement may put money in his pocket, you see, Ray believes in this product so much, that he has become an affiliate.

Steve, in response to ...... Some companies will have only 1 standard product which will address
Only certain health concerns. Perhaps you need to look at companies
That have several products that will address individual concerns.
For example, joint care product, antioxidants, skin care, weight loss, etc

A company that has only 1 product better be the first to market otherwise
They will always be playing catch up to the competition.

I agree with you on the playing catch up, but I think you only need ONE great product. GeneWize is the FIRST to market Home DNA kits to identify strengths and weeknesses in your genetic makeup, then makes a daily supplement that is special for what your body needs. It is also the only one that offers a refer 4 pay no more, and the least expensive out of all the other "DNA-based vitamins"

So many good replies to this subject and I sure don't think I will add much here but to agree with what has been said, it is not so much about your company and products because there are thousands of good companies and products. It is really comes down to marketing you. You will not find many companies or products in any industry that doesn't have a lot of competition.

Usually MLM nutritional products are overpriced and makes it a greater challenge to compete with local retailers. What I like to point out here is that if you took 5 people with you to a local retail business and you each purchased a product, would the company give you a discount for bringing the other customers? Even if you came back the next day with 100 additional customers and asked for a commission on each of them, you wouldn't receive it. Not only are my products free every month, I get paid commissions for bringing additional customers to the counter! I view the cost of my products very low.

To Your Success,

I am also in the health and wellness industry. And yes there is a lot of competion but that is a good thing!!! Stop and think how big this industry is and how many trillions of dollars people spent on healthcare, weight loss products and products that make you look better. It's pretty amazing!!
Now think of all the products out there and everyone is saying that their product is better than all the others. I recommennd people do their homework - if they take 1 product what's the side effects? will it cause other problems?? does the company follow FDA or pharmacutical grade practices?? how does it compare to other products in 3rd party testing?? These are all questions you should ask yourself and your prosepcts??
And far as cost - what is your health worth to you?? either you pay for a product today or you will pay for the high cost of healthcare later in your life

Hope this helps!!

I guess my point is that most wellness MLM associates have failed to show how their products will reduce health care costs.

I am a baby boomer and don't want to follow the path of my deceased to cancer and the other to heart disease...It's all about Prevention today ...Yes, this is a trillion dollar industry and growing. I too have tried many many did I say many nutritional supplements. I have been in the wellness industry now for over 6 years and I've tried most of the pills, the shakes and the powders, and juices and then I found something fun and easy to share..and it works! Wow, what a concept! ...I think that when one finds his or her passion in life, and they are thrilled with what their products will do for a person, then all I can say is that the sky is the limit. There is a lot of information out there for all of us to consume for free...and that's how I found my passion in life. I just googled dark chocolate, and antioxidants as well as the acai berry, ours has both. The information out there is astounding to me! / Free Samples! This is a great site to find many answers. Thank you for all the opinions, offers, and advise that I've seen and commented on, many have been of interest to me. Thanks for allowing me to visit.

How many people like this join Better Networker just to throw out one pitch and never post anything again?

Pretty sad.

Also, what's the the odds that someone goes to Google and types in dark chocolate antioxidants acai berry.

Sounds like straight bullshit to me.

Epic Fail.

I agree. They fail to realize that there are million of supplments out there. There are thousands or even millions of markters who claim their supplements are top of the line.

I shall endeavor to educate you but only by referring back to what I have already taught. By any chance...are you aware you have repeated your same e mail? Thank you though. Because of you today many more people learned of the power and value of Mila!

I also am very interested if you are interested in health or nutrition at all? I believe all I know of your expertise is the Pre Paid Legal? I can understand your being confused if that is the case. What is it you can teach us rather than how to warn people not to look at something based on the past? That is the worst kind of lesson in my opinion. Do you agree?

I can only say that embarking one's self on a journey to understand how God designed our bodies to heal itself when nourished properly is one of the most rewarding journeys one can ever emabark upon. In all my research...with a life long study and longing to do so...I have interestingly enough never found a cure for the one most harmful obstacle to a man or woman's destiny. There just is no cure for a closed mind.
If one were to find a cure for that then they would become wealthy indeed! I think the closest thing we have for that much needed commodity would be the energy of love.

When YOU are really passionate about something you truly have to doubt your doubts and feed your fears (on whatever's holding you back to push forward) ...Just my humble opinion;)

Forest! I am excited for you! I can confirm first hand that a dear friend of mine helped start your company. I was with another financial company that looked as though it was going to have success but became very, very complicated! My friends Larry and Maureen worked diligently for about one year and built up your fine chocolate company to 700 distributors! I coached them financially and they so wanted me on board. I had gone through much tragedy though and my timing was not right. When my current company opened its doors and I learned it was only 3 months old at the time I was ready and my decision was also based on placement. Before Larry died last month I had the honor of receiving them in my home. He gave me samples...Lifemax wasn't around yet...and I have to say that is an outstanding chocolate! Rock on...Larry may be disappointed in heaven that I didn't join his ongoing team his wife now runs but I can tell you this. He will be happy I am mutually supporting a plant high in the Omega 3s that most certainly the Doctors are pushing to help their patients today.
