Dani, It's the strange thing about MLM compensations structures, right, that if you're not part of a leader's "downline," you shouldn't be helped because you're not paying that leader. And some leaders never call their teams, which always seemed crazy to me.
Of course, highly successful coaches aren't going to give their specialized support away for free because their time is just too valuable.
But, I read that the CEO of travel search engine Kayak personally answers their customer service line, which rings in the middle of the office on a big red phone! So I decided to take that approach...I always answer my phone and I give a lot of information away for free. It always helps if the person who is asking for help knows exactly what she wants and asks specific questions. When I started in this industry, I didn't even know what questions to ask, so I didn't know what help I really needed!
For instance, "Generate Endless Amounts of Leads" and "Sponsor Trillions in Your Downline" are very vague 'how-to' courses, and in my opinion, totally abused phrases in this industry, because there are many ways to generate leads and many ways to sponsor. So, maybe you want to generate leads using social media or maybe you want to sponsor by giving business presentations...those are two very specific skills.
When I flirted with an MLM company, I found Dani Johnson's seminars and group coaching sessions incredibly valuable. And I did take a few personal coaching sessions with her as well, which have still impacted me. She is solely results-oriented and has a lot of tough love, which I really needed at the time.
Dani, while those sessions are going to be an investment, the other option would be to not seek out coaching necessarily; rather seek out a personal "mastermind" group...Find no more than 5 people who are experiencing results (no matter how small...just focused results) so you can build off eachother's strengths and learn from eachother's weaknesses.
Best of luck!
