That dragon looks like it's going to pop right off that wall any second now. :)

That kind of talent could only come from Canada...

Kidding. It was Canada Day yesterday... so still psyched about that...

After all it only happens once a year, eh?

Oh Canada...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say, Canadian? :)

My name is Don Egnor and I live in Tampa Florida with my wife Kate and our 2 cats, Stretch & Isabelle. I love Florida for the weather, beaches and sunshine but sometime I miss the mountains and even miss the snow and the chill in the air. We lived in Atlanta GA for 3-4 years before we moved to Florida and so far we have no plans on leaving, at least if Kate has her way about it…which she probably will.

After spending 4 years in the Army, stationed in Germany, I decided to relocate to California for a few months because I wanted to spend some time with friends I made while in the service. I was only planning on staying 6-8 months but stayed for over 3 years just exploring, working enough to get by and having fun. I finally came to my senses though and realized I had to leave because I was getting nowhere fast…I was having too much fun and not really making enough money to support the lifestyle I wanted.

I packed up again and moved again back to West Virginia and went to work for a car dealership. I started out as a salesman and thought I had it made. I was making good money, having fun, had no cares and even had a new car to drive…that was when you could get a “demo” from the dealer and all I had to do was buy the gas for it! I actually worked my way up from being a salesman to the finance manager, then to sales manager and eventually to running a satellite dealership at another location for this dealer.

We eventually left West Virginia when I got my Realtors license for the great state of Georgia. I went to work for Coldwell Banker as an on-site Sales Manager where I spent the next 10 years of my life. We spent 5 years in Atlanta before packing up and moving to Tampa, FL. I was doing rather well until the Real Estate market crashed and went south.

In the matter of a few months everything changed so I am now doing consulting work, managing a community with over 1000 homes (Community Association Manager CAM) and doing on-line marketing as an Executive with Talk Fusion Global. I became involved with Talk Fusion Global because I see this as a way to help the numerous small businesses get the attention and exposure that is needed very badly. The millions of small businesses need the service that Talk Fusion can offer them so they will be able to compete better with the bigger companies in the marketplace today.

Kate and I have certain things we want in our life just as I am certain you want things for yourself as well as your business and we will go to great lengths to reach those goals. Our mission is to help as many people that we can so we can feel fully satisfied with what we are doing and where our life is going. There is always a better way to do things but most people don’t really know where to turn or where to start the process. The same thing holds true for most of the small businesses today.

I am proud to be part of the Better Networker community and have met and interacted with many great people. It is hard to find a community of this stature even though there are still hiccups along the way...as in any other organization. Kate and I really care about people and want to help as many as we can. Notice I said help...not do everything for them but to be there in the event our assistance is needed or asked for.
