Of course nobody says that he or she planing to hurts you, but
it happens automatically - mainly it depends from him attitude:
gurus always produce everything like win-win situation, but
most often it is just win-lose.

It happens because major of gurus don't know
how to talk in the same level as people are (they usually talking well
with other gurus and communicating with them too, but
they don't know how to communicate with poor people that
really help him to achieve success.) and they
tasks they gives to average people are much more
above average to complete.

I 'like' your thinking this way. SUPERMAN does not go around telling everybody that he's Superman! He just goes out and do a good deed for everybody and he disappears again. His good deeds identifies who he is.
We give advice from our own experience and training, but few people take that advice and use it. Your good deeds and intentions will go unnoticed unless somebody recognizes who you are as an authority on a subject.
Somehow we have to let people know to brand ourselves in the market.

Justin, I wish we are on Facebook so I can like your comment right there. :) Hmm...sounds like a wake up call to BN web owners to think about setting up a rating mechanism for comments here. For the meantime, let me manually say that "I like" your comment Justin, and it's great to hear that you are already doing the advice reflected in this thread. ;) Stay inside success.

A teacher doesn't brag about what he does, he simply teaches.

A guru doesn't tell the whole world that he's a guru...he simply gives advice to those who need it and people are left thinking, "that guy is a guru at this particular skill".

On the negative side..

A robber doesn't say, "Im going to rob you tonight".
A con artist won't say, "I'm conning you right now".

And this brings us to the ONE SILLY MISTAKE that I think majority of internet network marketers commit:

Telling Instead Of Doing.
More Talk...Less Demonstration.

Let me give you a few examples:

"Hi I'm XXXX and I teach people how to open 1,984 Income Streams"
"I'm a network marketing mentor, opt-in below"
"I'm a professional coach and internet marketing expert......"

There are more better ways to brand yourself and your expertise without directly telling people about it. In fact, it is much more effective if you don't tell it upfront because people hate egotistical freaks. Just let the things you do, your free stuff, your products, your customer service, and everything about your business DO THE TALKING AND BRAGGING FOR YOU.

Do more, and promise less. It always works.

Hope you find this useful. Have a great day! :)
