Hey thanks Lynda and Chris this is some good stuff..

I appreciate both of your expertise - and it was lovely to connect with you via message Chris.

Don't follow every shinny object. Not everyone will be good at everything.
This is so true Lynda and some very smart advice. In the beginning all I did was constantly try to learn EVERYTHING at once.. I was the jack of all trades but master of none.

And Chris yes definitely it's all about 'real' relationships.. not the fake kind. I'm sure you know the ones...

Authenticity is gold! If you find someone who has it - it simply just makes your day. :D

I have been on this site for nearly 3 years. I have learned a few things that may be helpful for most people. With this site, it is easy to get overwhelmed with all the information that is shared. Most of the time, the topics are repeated by well-meaning individuals to make themselves "look like experts."

I have stopped doing that. In fact, I don't visit this site very much at all lately. I just stopped by last night to check my messages and I actually found something different.

As Lynda said, focus on doing one thing at a time until you get good at it. Start making friends with people who genuinely care about other people. Pretty soon, you will develop some good relationships and who knows, you might gain some business partners and start making some money along the way?

Find what fits you and get amazingly good at it, and teach it to others.

Don't follow every shinny object. Not everyone will be good at everything.

For me, I love doing video and I found I am good at it. I also love teaching. I am visual, if that didn't give you a hint, so facebook and any social media that is visual works for me, like here

I got really good at 2-3 things, I don't try to do all of the different methods, do we even have a number? Because everytime I turn around I hear of another one.

So my advise:

Pick one thing, learn it, get good at it, consistently get leads from that source, before going to something else. What causes overwhelm is trying to do everything before you settle into what you are good at and creating a routine that works.

The Internet is an amazing medium - access to the world and anything you want to know!

But it comes at a price for Internet Network Marketers who try to tame such power..

In the beginning for me I was completely and totally overwhelmed, however I then found a few ways so I can cope with doing an online business full time.. :D

What different strategies have you guys found out there to help you cope with overwhelm?? :|
