Well if you treat Email marketing like everyone else than it is not you have SPAM and a bunch of clutter trying to find which messsages that you want to read.

You may have heard the term "The money is in the list" true but the money is not in the list it is in the relationship you have with that list. I get Emails from a number of people that I read but the reason I read them is they have use media to build a realtionship with me.

Not only do I get emails from them I get some crazy direct mail from them.

With my list I do the same thing in order to build a relationship with them so when they see my message they will remember me and open my Email.

What do you do to get your E-mail opened, read, and get them to respond? Please share

I completely believe in the power of email marketing..My list is increasing and i even have got some affiliate sales ..Chris , you are right about building a relationship with your list..I do it by adding them into a group on FB and keeping in touch with them on a daily basis by just sharing my value..

If they realize that you are always willing to help or share value , they will open your emails and read..

3/4 of my email content is based on sharing value and 1/4 is subtle promotion of my business..that is what works for me..

John Lennon said: I'm going to write myself a new swimming pool - the Beatles created such a fan base the only thing they had to do is write a new song and a flood of new money would come their way.

Rich Dad writes a new book Rich Dad says this is how he legally print his own money. I write a sales letter and send it out to my faithful followers who will by anything I have to offer.

The first time I did this I sent out 1 email took me 3 mins to write it 10 min later I had $100 bucks in my pay pal account.

What do you have the creates income at will?

Email marketing work, Value Value and Value. Promote only what you use and they will buy. If you have own product give them a big discount and encourage them to promote the product.

I agree with you email marketing can still be very effective. You don't want to spam a persons email which will bring negative results. If you can successfully build a relationship with the people on your list you may be able to get them to work with you.

What i've learned from deagan smith is if you want your email marketing to
be more effective then email daily and tell more stories.

One way you can do this is not send sales pitch send valueable tips that can help people they can also be entertaining I have found this helps. Then once in a while you can make an offer.

An excellent topic. Everyday when I open the list of mail recieved it just looks like a big jumble but there is always one that stands out and that it the one which I always open and save first, heres why...

Near enough all of the emails that I recieve try to be clever and original..but they are not. The email that I am refering to is always exactly the same, it always looks exactly like this (of course without the x's):

xxxxxx@gmail...Wordpress For Beginners

So the title is always consistant and then when I open it I know that the sub-title will tell me what the subject matter for the day is...and then I save it for later. It's free (so OK i'm mean) so what?....

But the beauty is in the simplicty of it, it never gets overlooked...most of the others I just delete...

....thats all, regards Jim T.

I would have to agree with you when you say the money is in the list. Everything I by is thru some type of email link in fact sometimes I don't even open emails because I know they are going to have me going in my pocket :D . They would not have made it to that point if they hadn't built a relationship with me first your post was short and right to the point awesome.
