Prostarprofits wrote:There is a lot of hype about internet marketing, mobile marketing, social media ect... You have 1) marketing message and you have the 2) media that you use to market your message.
If you have a marketing message that sucks the best technology in the world will not help you.
I love the internet but I generate higher results offline that online but by using the same systems that we use online 1) drive people to a sales letter 2) capture the lead with a information hotline 3) this information hotline has a short prerecorded message 4) I then have their phone that I can follow with test messages & phone calls.
There is less competition on offline which is why I think I get better results.
No matter where you build your business you must have a strong marketing message.
Prior to my coming online to try marketing, I had been utilizing such systems.
Finding and driving traffic via postcards, direct mail, classifieds, sizzle cards. All that then lead to a pre-recorded message or possibly a website with further instructions.
It help to get through the non serious and over to the serious takers.
Because of time constraints, what with working, sometimes two gig's, I had to try and find system's I could use to help build a business venture.
I remember a venture I did many years ago where I had two or three days in a row of having my mail box full of envelopes stuffed with checks and money orders. The company I was promoting was slow in filling orders and went belly up.
I used attention getting, emotional driven message's which other marketer's supplied to me.
And one deal we used a small well written, hit the right buttons 20 page booklet.
That's how I was able to get my mail box stuff with checks.
Beatty Carmichael over at Growth Pro has some really great marketing systems with 800# with sizzle calls and the like.
Marketing in this way wasn't cheap, but you could yeild some great results.
