One of the things you really need to watch out for is the tendency to start "managing" a business that does not exist yet. Meaning there are lot of ways to waste time - setting up CRM programs, programs that give you a visual view of your genealogy, setting up team training sites... etc., etc., etc., that are not necessary or need for a long time. I've learned over the years to focus more on sponsoring and recruiting and, eventually, you'll find it starts to get tough to stay in contact with 100+ people.... then it's time to go add tools.

Until then... just fiddling.

If it helps I tend to use Constant Contact for my CRM, as it integrates nicely with Wordpress and performs the functions I want it too. :)

Applied Education is the difference :)

Volker,

I keep an online database of all my leads, in addition to using an auto-responder. I currently use Stat Trak Address system to keep information, but will upgrade to SalesForce within 60 to 90 days. I think it's wise to use a CRM program to manage leads and keep in touch with them through telemarketing, direct mail and email. I hope that helps. Have a great day.
