My warm market seems to always want something for nothing. They want samples before they buy.
I have one prospect said that she was interested in the product because she was going on an exercise program. Since we did not have the time to discuss any detail like timing and trying to push product on anybody, I mentioned going to the website. I had stopped giving out samples unless the prospect signs up and I would give a sample before their shipment arrives. The warm market prospect insisted on trying a sample before she buys. A few days later she was given a week sample. I brought out that when you try this it is enough until your shipment comes in. A few weeks later, she had not tried it nor has not purchased as she promised.
Your warm market usually can give you the quickest example of what the overall market is like and you will get a quicker response because they are a closer contact with you.

It can be easier than it sounds. It is for me anyway. Most of the work is done online so when I approach a warm market, cold market, or any market person I am usually in a hurry, no time to really discuss the opportunity. Once I mention I am in business and they show a little interest I simply explain that I would love to talk about my business when I have more time but for now go to my website. Then I write down the URL for them and that's the end of the conversation. Soon I will be handing them a business card and it will have very little information on it other than my name, address, phone number, and the website will big and bold.

The key for me is to get them to the website and let it do the selling. It has worked great so far because it keeps friends from getting irritated with me because I don't have to push anything on them.

Not sure if you have the option of a website that introduces your product, team and does the sorting and selling for you?

I have been going through Mike Dillard and Mark Weiser's BalckBelt Recruiting. It does a great job of showing you how to lead the conversation with leads who are already interested in your opportunity. Does anyone have any scripted material on how they start a conversation with warm market prospects?
