Thanks this is real interesting! Never been a fan of promoting direct affiliate sites as I noticed with some programs they used to get ranked and now see some are now PR 0 ? Not sure how this all ties in together.

This is great information but I always believed that building your own list first is where it is at.
A link to an affiliate product in a landing page may earn you a one=time profit, but I believe it is too much of a short-term thinking process. Building a relationship with a list first, giving valuable content and help, will earn you a much better longer repeat income and you will get a better conversion, even with a small list.
