Can the use of AMR Hurt with google SEO?

Postby Bill Solano on Tue Apr 17, 2012 5:20 pm

Well, I recently received a comment on my blog asking whether the use of AMR (Article Marketing Robot) incur a penalty from google.

In my opinion as long as the main article is unique and completely personalized, ensuring that you are sincere and genuine in your blog post, the back-links are just that. External links are there supporting your original blog post.

As long as you ensure that the spun content is sufficiently unique then the post will do their job and create the back-links to help support your SEO effort.

AMR has a lot of low PR scraped article sites typically considered as junk by Google 'Panda'. Yes, uniqueness matters, but it also matters where you back link from. If you back link from a bad neighborhood, you will be dinged... I got sandboxed after a AMR blast, so I'm not blasting AMR. lol.

Hi guys,

Based on my experience as a marketer.. have done SEO as well.. since the update of Penguin.. I don't think the use AMR can help.. But it's not that really justified that it doesn't it's just that, as marketers, we don't just have to rely on this strategy, maybe we should also consider marketing it in social medias.

For now, I am not into any article marketing strategy.. trying to think of effective ways on how can I generate leads in a natural way possible.

AMR is not a good tool, esp post penguin.

I think article marketing is still good. It will generate traffic.

Some places to use for articles dissemination and such:

AMA / TrafficJumbo
SEOlinkvine (a poor mans copy of AMA)
UAW
TrafficKaboom

I don't use them much myself.

Those tools did worked and still do but it all depends where you are linking from, I used to have UAW membership and after the updates stopped using them.

Al this mass submission tools have one thing in common the sites they used are mostly low quality sites for the simple purpose of getting quick links, now the game has changed is all about getting links from high authority sites with HIGH PR that is the bulletproof trick of avoiding any updates by Google.

Be careful about the quality of sites that you are blasting your articles too. Some of the ones with a PR 0 are bad neighbourhoods and it may be a good idea to avoid using them at all. Quality of links is now more important than ever.
