I do realize I am a real newbie but.. enough is enough...
I have so many emails everyday that Mentors want to Mentor me !!
What does that mean and Dont you need to have expertise before saying something like that. But most of all, when do you actually know your qualified ? Or Who is qualified to teach you.
Love some feed back on this confusing issue ?

You know I was a newbie once too. And When I answered one of those Emails It saved me thousands of DollArs and years of frustration just pick some one you like and work with them or say no thank you. It is a Sad day when someone is up set because People want to help them in this industry.

You need to google the "Mentor" and see what others are saying about him/her. Google the business opportunity that you are interested in to see who the top earners are with that company...but most importantly follow your gut instinct.

It sounds like a lot of folks are trying to sell you something. I am a mentor and I was trained from a life time of motivating and guiding others. I don't spam i make myself available through the Better Networker platform. I do not charge for this service.
You will be able to tell quickly if a mentor is qualified to advise you. if they do not put your interests first I suggest you look elsewhere.
I was taught by Michael Dlouhy the principles of successful network marketing. Michael is a leader in Network Marketer.
Let Me Be Your Mentor.

Re: Help I am overwhelmed by mentor emails!
Wow thank you all for your support and info. The problem is that most of the emails are from just
newbies as I am (three months). I do have a mentor that I found for my searchengine and one I have worked very closley on getting traffic with, there just wonderful people. My trouble is that I ran into a women that was not even in a business she could help me with, all she wanted was to sell me her business.. very pushy too. I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on how to label yourself or find a mentor that is true to there title. Seems there are just to many mentors.

A true mentor is not going to try and sell you something we ask and find out what it is your havein gtrouble with and what we can do to help. If somebody want to see if yu have enough money in the bank before they mentor you. But we at mentoring for free offer you a free ebook to download that is totaly free and it explains away all the fears and pitfalls of this business. It teaches you how to pick and chose who you want to mentor you. Not someone else telling you what they can do for you The book is in my profile if you want a copy feel free to go get it .

Dear Donna,
I understand your confusion, I felt the same way until I found out that, the name of the game in this industry is to mentor new people, by helping others succeed you achieve success yourself. Unfortunately some people see this as a sales opportunity, and they are the ones that give our industry a bad name. I was a confused newbie too, but my solution was to get educated. Once I did, the blinders came off, and I was able to tell a good from a bad mentor. I am going to direct you to the person that I went to, to get my education. He is a member on this site and has just written an excellent article for a newbie like you, read his article "MLM Lead Systems Are "Worthless" If You Can't Get People To Them". If you like to visit his site go to The Renegade University sign up it is free, no one is going to try to sell you anything, and you are going to see what true mentor-ship is all about.
If I can be of further assistance just let me know,
Roberto Guerrero

Re: Help I am overwhelmed by mentor emails!
You have a point. Out of the blue you receive an email from an unknown person that barely even says "hi" before they're telling you they can coach or mentor you.
Dani Jonson doesn't spam you telling you what she can do for you, Randy Gage doesn't, Tim Sales, Jerry Clark, Doug Firebaugh, Todd Falcone, Barry Donalson, Dale Calvert, etc. doesn't do this. You opt-in to their list and then the dance begins... not before!
I received a message from someone here in this community recently and she rambled on about replying to my post and she mentioned that she wanted to coach me. I appreciate the offer but it was akward to me. It's almost like me walking up to a female stranger and saying "hey, I want to be your man!" Heck I don't know if she wants a man, maybe I'm too big of a man for her, maybe I'm not a big enough man for her, maybe she prefers hair as opposed to a bald head, maybe she doesn't like guys like me who smile and are upbeat, etc.
Most times I'll be rejected but just like anything else, if I asked enough women, somebody is going to say hmmm... well what's your name? These "coach's and mentor's" maybe have figured out that if they prospect enough people who may need assistance in building their business someone sooner or later will say yes.
By the way, can I be your coach? Just joking!!!
Continued Success,

Re: Help I am overwhelmed by mentor emails!
Thank you Richard LOL. I just came from my email and again I have 4 more "I want to mentor you" I mean truly they are giving good mentors a very bad name and I am sorry. My true Mentor "Kurt Henninger" whom I just adore would never think of doing that and I trust and believe in him. He stares me in the right direction no matter what I ask. I am proud to have him as a mentor.
But for me I just wondered if mentoring simply means helping in anyway you can? It was always my belief that mentoring meant a teacher! Someone that knows the ropes. Because if that is the case I have a title to work towards and most all the mentor emails I am getting are newbies with false claims.
Good evening all Donna

Re: Help I am overwhelmed by mentor emails!
Donna,
You are learning fast. I'm enjoying reading this thread. I believe that if you offer good content on this site and on the internet in general, and if someone receives value from what you write then they will find their way to you. That is how I connect with the people that I coach and mentor. I have a few opt-in pages and I have a profile and I have a phone number. Unless someone specifically puts out a call for "help" on this site, (Which someone did yesterday), I do not offer to "mentor" them. I do post a lot on forums and work hard at giving value to the community. A person can find me when they feel the need or desire.
As to what qualifications are necessary to be a network marketing mentor...I think you need to decide that for yourself. If you want to learn about google, find someone who appears to know a lot about google. If you want to brainstorm ideas, then look for someone who posts things that resonate with your way of thinking. Do you want help from someone in the same company as you, then look for people who are. I hope this is answering your question. You can tell pretty easily how much experience someone has by spending some time on the profile and looking at the history there. You also have the right to "interview" someone to see if they have the qualifications that you need.
I hope all the attention you received did not sour your introduction to this community. It is truly a very caring a supportive place and full of talented people offering much to help you grow and succeed. Welcome.
