Is Traffic Geyser all that's cracked u to be?

Postby Daniel Herzner on Fri Feb 20, 2009 3:07 pm

Is anyone here a user of Traffic Geyser? If so, what kind of a review would you give the service? I use several submission sites for my articles and blog posts. Before I plunk down money for this one I'd like to hear what you have to say about it. Thanks, hope you all are well.

Hi:
I used Traffic Geyeser and was very disappointed. It touts itself as the best video submission software because it can send your videos to multiple sites and also to podcasts. In reality what I found was that It's expensive and clunky to use in real life. For example, I had a 7 part video series I wanted to submit to multiple sites. It took for freakin ever to upload those videos and set them all up with Traffic Geyser. As it turned out over 30-40% of these submissions didn't stick...WTF???!!!

In fact, uploading up to 12 videos at a time is MUCH MUCH quicker with YouTube itself...and YouTube is the only site that makes much difference anyway.

If you want to use video submission software, TubeMogul is free and much easier to use. I cancelled my TrafficGeyeser subscription and don't recommend it to my team.

Bottom line though, YouTube makes it much easier than any of these software packages to upload up to 12 videos at a time to YouTube. Granted you aren't sending the videos to 50 or more sites...but the only site that has all the visitors is YouTube..so who cares if the software can send your video to 50 obsucre video sites.

I wouldn't bother with Traffic Geyser....
hope this helps

I use Traffic Gyser quite a bit. Now I do not know all there is to know about SEO , but Traffic Gyser has helped me dominate in several key word groups. I have ranked #1 for, this is for an example only, Open a Home Based Business Today. I think it works well for a newbie. I learned how to use it effectively. I purchased the premium edition by mistake. This was one of the best mistakes because I am learning how to market other things. For example I am promoting a carpet cleaning company, an ink company and soon a bakery. The cost may seem high, but inlight of the possibilities that it can open to some one is amazing.

I would and do recommend it to my team. I do so not just because I am also an affiliate but because I believe it has really helped me. It has help me so much that if I had to stop using it I am confident that I can still succeed without it.

As far as recommending it to your team. Give them the information and let them make the choice. Remember this is about letting our teams grow as individuals, as sponsors we are not to be the keepers of what may help them. Let them know what you think yes, but let them make the decision.

I use it myself & for clients- and think it's great. Mike Keonigs specifically says to expect a 20-40% "drop rate" of videos not going through. This is normal & no big deal.

I does take a while to upload videos, but if you adjust some settings on your computer it goes much quicker. All I did was email support & they helped me fix that issue.

If you do the SEO correctly, it CAN indeed help a lot. Unless you're going to be doing several videos a week- or you've got clients you're helping- I would probably stick with a free service like TubeMogul.

Someone could easily start a full-time business just doing videos & SEO work for businesses with TrafficGeyser. It's a complicated program that requires a good deal of time to learn & become proficient with. There are TONS of features...which is great, but also complicated.

I like to think that I'm pretty technically savvy & I was waaaay overwhelmed when I first got started with it. I would definitly NOT reccomend it to my downline. Way too much for them.

That's my 2 cents:)

Rachel, You do see the value but how do you know your downline would not be able to handle it. I am of the opinion that this is part of being a leader, helping people to advance whether it is on a computer or what ever. Yes there are people who do not have the capacity needed yes, but most do. If one thinks their down line can not handle it then how does one know what they can handle?

I personally don't have Traffic Geyser, but I have sat in on
Mike Koenigs' webinar and it was GREAT. I read his blog and
reviews on certain electronics products and they were GREAT.

Sorry if this isn't specifically about Traffic Geyser, but I find a
tremendous amount of value in Mike's training, which is free.
Not sure if TG will fit into my plan any time soon, but I welcome
emails and information from Mike any time.
