This is something that not too many people
in the internet marketing community are
talking about, and virtually no one in the
MLM industry are actually implementing.
It would be of great benefit to you if
you started studying up on SEO using
Silo Structures and Latent Semantic
Indexing (LSI).
Simply put, how you structure your site
and the content you put on it, can be
even more important than getting a bunch
of backlinks to your website.
I put together a video with a basic intro
to it. Check out the description box of
the video for more information and resources:

The guys who are leaders on the study of
this concept were interviewed by Tim Erway's
partner. That interview blew my mind, and
explained for me why some of my sites
rank well really fast, while others stagnate:

I hope this impacts a few of you.
Cheers,
Fernando

LOL.
Well, two things:
1) Remember what Eben says about "moving the free line"
2) I just had a 60 minute webinar with private coaching clients
and this is just the tip of the iceberg. The video was just
2 slides of our hour long presentation, so there's always more
to teach on the giant which is Google.
Cheers,
Fernando
P.S. Thanks for the opportunity to review MLM System Formula.
I'll be sending a testimonial your way soon.

Charles knows his stuff, and there is a lot of merit to the Silo methodology. We had a conversation a few months back about what they are doing, and it's mind blowing (or mind numbing for those who have a hard time wrapping their heads around SEO).
He and Russell Wright have an amazing service called Themezoom.com It's not cheap, but aside from being about the best market intelligence tool I've ever come across, it also tells you exactly how to structure your website for maximum results.
Thanks for the post Fernando and great video summary.

Fernando WOWW thank you so much for that!
That does make a lot of sense. So blogs actually aren't that great for SEO because they don't isolate so well.
Does anyone sell a content management system (similar to blogs) that forces the creator to adhere to the SILO structure you talk about?

Jim, blogs are absolutely still the way to go, and should be used to augment the silo strategy.
In fact, I did an interview with Denis DeBernardy over at Semiologic.com who has developed many wordpress extensions and enhanced the wordpress platform considerably. He actually put a "Silo plugin" into wordpress for this reason.
Again, there is a lot of merit to the silo methodology, but that doesn't make blogs obsolete. In fact, I've yet to find a better way to quickly rank in the search engines than posting good content to blogs. Used in conjunction with the silo methodology and you will naturally get linked to (off-page optimization) in addition to having good website architecture.

Re:LSI - Google Search Algorithm Cracked?
Wow, didn't know this would light this thread of fire.
To just respond to Jim and Tim's comments:
Silos are just one part of the "Google Equation".
There's also Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI), which
uses a co-occurrence matrix to evaluate the content
on your website.
So once you've made it easy for Google to crawl your
site and identify the various page topics, you then
have to have good content, because that content
will be evaluated based on the LSI algorithm.
The Co-Occurrence Matrix, simply put, is a table with
keywords and pre-cursors to certain keywords. This
table is used to determine the relevancy of your
content.
