Any advice on how to invite new friends? I have a few who are interested in building profiles on the site, but I don't know how to get them here and get points for my efforts. I tried to go directly through the invite link but I continue to get a message telling me that it "appears to be broken"

Is it just down? Or am I making a newbie mistake?

On your profile page, there is a badge you can use.

When you click on the badge, it pulls up a code embedded
with your unique referral id and some other tags.

1. Copy/paste that code onto notepad or word, or a blank email.
2. extract only the URL which contains "referrer id"
3. Delete the rest of the code.

That is your unique referral link. Send that to your friends
and you will get credit when they sign up.

Note: you will see TWO URL's in that code, but the second
one is the image URL. Make sure you only use the first one.

Actually you are right Jason the link and badge are missing on my site as well.

I dug around for this answer myself and the best I could find still active was the invite page at http://www.betternetworker.com/invite

Now we just need to figure out a page to get them to opt-in to receiving an invitation and provide an email address to send it to. Then manually copy and paste it into the form.

Klunky, but it should work.

The other day I got the code for the Better Networker Badge for my blog. It was fine and then suddenly it turned into another image that was pretty meaningless. Is it temporarily down? I can't find another spot to get the code on my profile.
