Hello. I am checking out the "add content" tab. There is a "write an article" option. Where does the article get posted? What should I write? About me, my business? I am new here, but I have seen there are some basic rules that should be followed. I am hoping that someone that has been here for a while will offer a little advice to me. I am trying to make the most of this site, but I am confused about the difference between writing 'spam', and just trying to network with others. Thank you in advance for any advice that is offered.

Kat,
I usually write my articles as a story. I write my blog where I want to discuss things I do in net-working with others.

As a basic rule, I don't promote my net-working in either my article or my blog. I have a capture page for leads on the side of my articles so people who are interested can seek more help.

Just my 2 cents worth. There are a lot of people on here who will help you in all kind of ways.

Hello Kat,

Welcome to the BN family/community.

I'll give it a shot of trying to help, and maybe others can add to the discussion.

From what I can tell, you can add content via an article, video, blog, podcast, etc...They will show up and post under the Latest Community Content, and or popular today areas which are on the left side and a little further down on the BN site.

Now as far as posting in the forum community, you would click add content, then click visit forum.

Once there click on Main MLM discussion or any of the other forum topics that interest you.

Then click on NEW TOPIC to start a new thread.

You new forum topic will show up in the Latest Discussion tab at the top of the BN site.

Now as far as what you should write about?

Just read through some of the post that are already here and if you fill so inclined, add your two cents to the topic.

Or you can share anything that you think would be of benefit to the community, such as something that has helped you in your entrepreneurial journey or mlm journey.

To keep from blatantly spamming just put your contact details in your forum signature, things like your blog url and such.

To add your sig file, go to add content, visit forum, at the top of the page, click on, "USER CONTROL PANEL."

Then click on "PROFILE"

You can then add your personal contact details there such as your blog url.

I do believe that when you write an article, you can add a little more with regards to your offer's be it blog or affiliate products.

Just read some of the articles there and you can get an idea.

Most will use anchor text that disguise the affiliate links.

Like I said, there will probably be other's here that can address this further.

Hope this can at least get you pointed in the right directions.
