I'd like to apologize if I seem irritated. Well, I am and for good reason! I'm sure I'm not the only ONE. I'm tired of WASTING my TIME sloshing through someone's site that goes on and on and on and will we ever see tomorrow? Know what I mean?
I don't care to watch a video or scroll past testimony after bogus testimony. I don't care to see all the fake clickbank summaries. I don't care to hear all about the hype of people I've never heard of before. To me, if your name ain't Knudson, Casey, Filsaime, Chia and a few others, you're just a regular smoe to me. (Sorry, if I stepped on someone's toes). I don't care about your cars, your house, your dog. Why should I give a rat's a** about all that filler stuff... plain and simple.
Here's what I want (for CHRISTMAS). I should probably be quiet and try to figure out how to do this myself but that would probably take me several years. By then, some one else would beat me to the punch. Here it is: I want a opt-in version for the site I'm about to view. One option is the standard run-of-the-mill long-winded version we have today. Option two: Cliff Note version: short and sweet and to the point. No testimonies, no bullshit, just the nuts and bolts and fact of the matter. Spare us the ego's, the boredom and the wasted time, that we could be using otherwise for promoting our businesses, instead of trying to enhance it with "information overload."

Thanks Freemoney.
One of my business theories is take some little tidbit or quote from each and every marketing business that I find relevant and combine them into some sort of conglomeration to fit my business practices. Some I have used right away, and other's I'm saving for a "rainy day." It goes back to the day when we did research papers in high school and college. You take the most relevant information and put it all together to create a whole.
As an affiliate marketer, I'm always looking for new sites/new angles to promote. Everyday, I use other peoples thoughts, ideas, and promotions, to enhance what I have, as a business, to make it better and more enticing.

Hi Shane,
I read and reread your post a couple times...so excuse my ignorance here...but what are you looking for exactly?
The title of the post was "Cliff Note Version of Internet Marketing"...is that what you're looking for? If so, I don't think that exists.
I used to try and write papers in college solely on cliff notes and reference materials, but what I found was that I'd spend 18-20 hours straight in the library cross referencing all the reference materials and massaging out different lines in the cliff notes and then searching through the actual book to site passages. It was a big pain.
It would have been a lot easier if I just would have spent the semester reading the actual material as prescribed by the professor.
I may have gone on a tangent there. I'll be interested to come back to this thread to see if you can clarify things a bit.
Thanks.

I know these names are big names, and I am well aware of their success. But...I'd like to know how they've helped you. What is it that is so great about these guys besides their reputation?
Maybe it could lead me to purchase one of their products. For example, how has Knudson or Casey helped you build your list? Has Filsaime put out a good product? And what have you learned about affiliate marketing from Chia?
Don't they offer a cliff note version of IM?

Re: Cliff Note version of internet marketing
It's been a little over a month since I wrote the article. I admit in my haste, to put out content, I may have, been a bit harsh and stepped on some toes. I didn't mean to "throw anyone under a bus," or specifically name any names. For that I apologize. I do believe it was a decent article and had a purpose or idea.
I have learned that the method I criticized is actually, one that is heavily promoted(long copy). I don't agree with it(duh), but that is my opinion and for now, this is still a free country. I realized that no two people have the same thoughts, concepts or methods and that each is free to their own beliefs. Though criticism is negative, it does begat new ideas and new inventions. In the future, I will look inward of my criticisms to find resolution.
(I'm not a scholar, those statements are my own, not meant to be plagerizing anyone. Find me the like-minded person, who wrote any of these, and I'll give them 90% credit.)
