Re: Do We Need a Limit On The Number of Article Posts?
Without sounding too political, setting limits on article submissions sounds too much like government intervention into a free economy. We can all certainly draw our own conclusions about laws that have been passed by local, state, and federal governments, can't we?
It's not about what we say or do, it's about how we make people feel.

Hi Elwood,
I wouldn't worry about the people who are trying to gain posts by submitting a ton of articles or whatever else they are doing. Understand that people might get very excited about this or another site, and start posting like crazy. Then they might stop and give up, or just not be consistent with their actions and come back after awhile. That is human nature as any of us with experience in this industry knows all to well. And if they are true spammers and just trying to rack up points, then other members will figure it out and filter them out. Just keep doing what you're doing so well and don't worry about the rest of it.
Best wishes,
Cindy

Do we really need duplicate content clogging the site ?
I think this comes about due to the competition of all the other articles out there. Posting an article in the article section, is really hit and miss. Only people actively following you are likely to find it.
I can see the advantage to the author of having the content available on as many 'bookshelves' as possible, but I do wish folks would just put them on the right shelf.
And duplicate content doesn't only clog the site up, it lessens our appeal to the Google god.
