Is anyone else offended by the multiple posts from some individuals. they will post up to 10 cut and paste articles, I think they are spamming just for points. if you go to their profiles they have made little or no effort to connect with other members.
It really hurts the chances for new people to have their articles read. You know as well as I do that if you are not on the 1st page you probably won't get read. This is a problem for new arrivals as they do not have a following.
I think it is wrong. What do you think?
I suggest a limit of 2 articles in a 24 hour period.

I think it depends on the value that is being brought to the table with their articles. If they are bringing incredible or moderate information in their articles...they can post 25 a day... the newbies will just have to fight their way to the top. It will teach them that this industry moves really fast, and those who delay will fall behind...

Logically, if you post 25 articles in one day it seems to be for points. When I post an article, I feel that it is of importance and people will benefit from it. I don't think that one person is going to read 25 articles in one day from me. I may be wrong though. I do agree that posts must contain value and not a bunch of hype. I can plug into a conference call for hype.

Rather than limiting the # of posts a day, we are focusing more on increasing the power of the search engine and involving the community more. Think about how YouTube works.
Lots and lots of people post but for the most part, it's the GOOD videos that rise to the top. On top of that, most people find the videos they are looking for by searching for it rather than just looking at "oh, what's the latest video?"
We want to be very careful in limiting folks, instead, we want to look at more innovative ways to promote the GOOD stuff. When the spammers who post crap realize their tactics aren't working... they'll eventually stop

It's obvious when someone breaks down a long article into 10, by creating an article for each paragraph, which few read, because generally people are smarter then that. The motive then must be to load points, which you can easily do by inviting 250 friends to BNW. So I really don't see the purpose, do you?

Another thing is, alot of people have written articles for a long time, and have them stored on their pc, so when they get to a community that they are new too, they just post all of the work that has done them well throughout other article marketing sites. So that may be why some post so many.

I haven't posted any at moment because they're on my PC and really, I'm kind of looking at questions people ask. Sometimes though, I'll have about 8 articles and I upload sometimes let's say 4 altogether. Maybe that is case for some. Don't know.
I do know, the cream always rises to the top and spammers will just drift away as time goes by. Like Raymond mentioned.

I guess there are two sides to this coin Elwood....as is evidence by the yeas and nays already posted here.
I believe the answer lies in the eye of the beholder....
If you think it is spamming, it is spamming. If you think it is getting your name out there, it is getting your name out there and earning points.
The real question is: What is your intent by doing that and how is that working for you?

Thank you all for your input. It seems the majority favor many article posts in succession. I still find it bothersome but will abide by the majority opinion and never mention it again.

Oh don't get me wrong... I find them irritating, especially when I find that many them are just spam.
But again, we don't want to inadvertently censor those folks with good intentions because we are so intent on silencing the spanners.
