False Virus Alert

Postby Richard Tolar on Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:43 pm

I got hit buy a virus alert tonight. A page popped up with a warning of an invading virus.

A program called AntiVirusPro 2009 is the actual virus. what it does is show you that a serious virus is attacking your system. To combat it they want you to buy the "AntiVirusPro 2009.

AGAIN! THE ANTIVIRUSPRO 2009 IS THE BUG.

Don't fall for it. :geek: I did once and it is really tough to get it removed. I ended up buying a new Anti-virus program to get the thing out of my system.

Stay alert

Thanks for the heads up. Irecently had to take my computer in to A one man shop!! Dwight is a total genius with computers. In a minute he told me the problem was I had a Trojan virus in my browser. And although I had the lates version of Norton on one computer and Mcaffew on the other. Both failed to remove it. He installed Windoes line one care, problem solved. 90 days free trial. check it out.
