Friend, Associate, CoWorker?

Postby Lynda Cromar on Fri Jan 27, 2012 2:35 pm

I really don't get the system in our friends system. In Facebook we are friends, In Twitter we are followers.

We have three different things we can be here and the only thing I can see is that you cannot message each other if we are not friends. So what if anything would be the advantage of Associate or CoWorker?

To me if we want to connect then we want to communicate am I wrong?

Lynda, What no feed back here on your thread? Hard to believe, you get so many responses on other thoughts or questions. I can't think of any advantages to your question but I am glad we connected.

Thanks :D

Thanks Galen! I can't either, that is why I am asking. Why not take the other stuff out, lets just be friends!

I have been out of town for the past holidays. It seems that friend, associate, coworker means the same thing. What I don't understand that a person wants to be your friend, associate and coworker. It makes a false sense of a larger list to build. If they are not on my team then I can delete them as an associate and coworker. And technically, friend would not decribe any relationship in a forum. We only meet in our avatar state and even rarer in person. We communicate with everyone who is enjoined in the forum.
Have we discussed this topic enough?
