[Arthur Bernier Jr. Contribution Level: 3]

The third spammer I've seen in this week that I have had to send to better networker staff. Please if you see spam send it to support it takes 24 hours and the spammer is gone. If these dudes figure out that they can't get any love from ABN with there crap it will eventually stop.

We are all entrepreneur's here and we can take control of the forum by just reporting these guys every time we see it instead of turning the other cheek

It's probably a spam bot. But it is someone with a knowledge of the forum. Because all these bots use the same strategy.
They understand that multiple comments on a topic send a topic to the latest discussions. They do it repeatedly so more people read there spam non-sense.

Not accidental I don't know better spam. But just down right blatant spam.

I am so with you, Arthur! Whenever I see one of those, I hit the report button. Many people may not know that it's the exclamation mark at the top right of posts.

Thanks for bringing more awareness to how we can be proactive about eliminating this kind of garbage from ABN.

UPDATE from support:

The best way to report a violation is to submit a ticket through the support link on the help page: http://www.betternetworker.com/help - this will ensure the content will be addressed quickly.

When reporting the content, which violates a Betternetworker Rules and Guidelines, please provide the following:

1) URL where content is found
2) provide exact details on which part or parts of the content is considered a violation
3) provide us with the specific Betternetworker Rules or Guidelines is being broken

NOTE: If you choose to use the forum topic button "report this post", we still need you to provide the information as well.

Everyone: Just focus on what YOU are doing in YOUR business. You are allowing things like this to distract you - which may stress you out, deviate from your daily tasks by taking the time to report spammers. Keep your focus!

We do all need to focus on our business...you are right Greg. I think we must all take the few seconds to report these spammers so admin can take care of it. The forums are a much better place for everyone because we take those few seconds out of our daily tasks to report them. It is a major job to try and keep the forums clean for the people that have a true interest in being here but we ALL must be diligent and help in any way we can to clean this up. The forums are a place where we all can learn from each other and share the knowledge we have as well so we all must take some responsibility to help in any way we can.
