Great landing page example...

Postby Sandeep Nath on Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:22 pm

Kudos to the WWN team for developing a landing page with such simplicity!

To the uninitiated, WWN is short for What's Working Now and it is a monthly compendium that will give you exactly what you need to better your internet marketing work, thereby saving loads of information overload (=time waste).

I just love the picture, graphics, non-video, non-salesy format. What did you like?

Sandeep,

Gotta say, I saw this earlier and thought "simple, sweet, and too the point."

It plays on people emotions and evokes curiosity.

Sandeep.Hi!

Yes. I saw it.

That is me.

Beside is true... it is funny.

As I have been critical to some gurus for the material they produce...for this project I have to say if they manage it well, this will be the very best project Mike Dillard has had produced by far.

Be well,

Sandeep,

There is no more perfect time to bring a landing page like this. More and more people are getting involved with an online business which can simply put them in into overload mode. This landing page was well thought out, and well put together for the internet marketer that is getting bombarded with "information overload". I must say Dillard has done it again!

I do find it interesting that for those "Network Marketers Who Are Feeling Overwhelmed And Confused By Too Much Information And Training", they can sign-up and receive more information and training  on how to "generate more leads....WITHOUT having to spend all of your valuable time reading expensive marketing courses".

Not to mention getting on another list which undoubtedly will generate more correspondence to read through.

Isn't that like attending a workshop to break your addiction to workshops?

I agree Sandeep.

It no doubt hits home for A LOT of people. It's a very simple message, but extremely effective.

It's the, "just cut through the crap and give me what I need" type of landing page. I Like!

Yep Warren that was really funny but the intent is to have the mother of all information delivered to your doorstep... so you want to unsubscribe to every other list now.

I trust I'm right... Mike?

I guess the cynic in me sees this as repackaged material presented in a new and different manner.

Or, is Mike implying that his previous methodology was wrong, or somehow lacking, and "What's Working Now" is the new and improved end-all/be-all for the marketing world?

I'm not saying that it would be wrong to repackage. Many of the top companies in the world have done the same thing at one point or another in order to reach and appeal to newer and different markets.

But now that I have seen an overload of posts on it, too many links to count in just about every social venue there is and gotten frustrated by seeing an inbox of solutions to my frustrations and information overload, its beginning to wear a bit thin.

Either way, I did the opt-in (from your link BTW) and watched the video that told me there was a solution to all my frustrations, so I guess we'll see what the future brings.

I'm not a regular subscriber to Mike's info, and I am guessing that this is something that is only being marketed by his "inner-circle", which is fine with me since I don't market anything that has not proven itself to me first.

So, although I may be a bit cynical and skeptical, as you can see, I am willing to give it the benefit of doubt and investigate for myself.
Have a GREAT day,
Warren
