In the Spirit of Thanksgiving...

Postby Raymond Fong on Sat Nov 22, 2008 7:39 pm

Ten things I am thankful for this year...

    1. My good health - aging sucks... I turn 28 next year, but I am keeping shape and eating healthier :)

    2. My family, friends, and loved ones - without them, I wouldn't be where I am today. CHEERS!!!

    3. Being able to quit my corporate job and be FREE - much kudos to the best business partner EVER, Fernando Ceballos, and the Magnetic Sponsoring team for helping us along.

    4. Having the opportunity to take my family to Australia and see the Great Barrier Reef! My parents absolutely loved it as did my sister and I.

    5. Going skydiving tomrrow in Cairns, Australia! Boo-ya!

    6. Having two WONDERFUL pet cats that are just fuzzy-wuzzy :) They keep me entertained and helps reduce my stress level.

    7. Being able to love and be loved.

    8. Being absolutely passionate about what I do for a living - mentoring others, cracking Google, being an encouragement and a leader to others, and just plain giving a damn about other people.

    9. Having a wonderful home to go to when I know there are lots in the world who don't.

    10. Having visited China just before the Olympics - it shattered some of China's stereotypes (from an American's eyes) and made me that much more proud to be Chinese.
What are YOU thankful for this year?

Now Raymond go easy on us old guys. I was 28 once but that is but a memory. a word of advice, prepare for tomorrow today as you will find old age comes faster than you realize.

I agree we all have much to be thankful for even us old guys. To top things off we have a wisdom that only comes with life's experiences.

Thank you for your wonderful thought.

Now now, I didn't say I was "old". I am just saying I am getting "older" :)

Even at only 28, I can tell my body just doesn't heal as quickly as it use to (say when I was 18...)

I can't be as abusive to my body anymore, or at least I need to give it more time to heal.

Raymond
P.S. I am thankful to have gone skydiving, got a video for your viewing pleasure (will post later), and went through it in one piece. :)

So many things I will keep it simple:

I am thankful for everything I have and everything I don't have because 'everything' happens for a reason!

Happy Thanksgiving BetterNetworkers!

Great thread Ray... It is always good to step back and take a look at your life and where you are at in it.

So what am I thankful for...

1. My wonderful wife who puts up with all the BS that comes with me and my business.
2. Two great business partners, and a great team of people that help us with our dreams and goals.
3. Having a great home.
4. The flexibility to do pretty much whatever we want when we want to.
5. Truly loving life and all that comes my way.
6. A great family that I can turn to in time of need.

Here's to the last run of a great year in life and business, and to the start of a great 2009
