Looks like Google is out to take over the business intelligence market, further evidence of Google's hostile attempt to over social media.I happen to use Square space to host my blogs because of the great analytical statistic features that are built into your back office.
But I also have another website were I am using Google analytics for reporting and traffic statistics, and I must say I'm very impressed with the application programming interface and the multidimensional visualization capabilities and its integration with Google adsense.
Google announced a couple of days ago that's its coming out with even more first class capabilities for its Google analytics web service. In an attempt to rival Microsoft's adcenter analytics and analysis services.Looks like Google is covering all its bases and I don't think anybody could say that they don't put out quality products.Let the take over begin!

Yes, I have been using GA for a while now with all my blogs, and websites. It does what I need it to do and best of all it is FREE

Re: Is anybody using Google analytics?
So far, we love Google Analytics and it has been fantastic at tracking traffic.
We have not used it with all of our business websites yet, just one. Plus we haven't hit all the bumps in the road...So if it is good for us now - perfect

Dianne,
If you are still learning everything I would disregard split testing and just stick to fooling around with wordpress. it takes a lot of time and dedication to learn and integrate wordpress into daily use. Learn to fully play around with just one wordpress site. Work with it and develop your content more than anything. Remember that all the traffic in the world really means nothing if you do not have sound content on your site. I would worry about split testing later down the road.
As for google, they are the powerhouse, they have the money and the partners to expand their many arms where ever they like. They will continue to grow and dominate in anything they do. i use google analytics but I prefer to use my current hosting site (hostingstudio.net) which comes with an advanced tracker which offer just as much (even more) than what google analytics has.

Re: Is anybody using Google analytics?
I've been using GA for the better part of a year. I find it especially beneficial due to the fact that I travel quite a bit in the promotion of my clothing line and it gives me all of the information in terms of the direction I need to go (literally). I have nothing but great things to say about the quality of the product.

Re: Is anybody using Google analytics?
Kevin,
Let me start by saying that 3 months ago all this Google Analytics and SEO Ranking was Greek to me, I have learned quite a bit since. I am no expert, but I have taken what I have learned and applied it, both my network marketing and the marketing of my clinic. Google analytics is one of the services I have been using, and I am very happy with it capabilities. I can see how they are covering all their bases in the marketing arena.
I have heard that Google is in the process of improving its searches by making them more personalized. That means that your page rankings are not going to matter as much, and that your ability to manipulate your sites (blogs, capture pages, websites) is going to be even more important in determining the success of your marketing efforts.
It is great for those that have made the investment of learning how to create a web presence on their own, rather than taking the cookie cutter approach and buying into a system that does it for them. Big companies are worried about this new trend with Google, but the small business owner can quickly adapt and take advantage of the ever changing environment of the Internet. If you are interested, I am adding the urls of the two videos that I got most of my information from:
http://videos.webpronews.com/2008/11/17/pubcon-bruce-clay-ranking-is-dead/
http://videos.webpronews.com/2008/12/29/ses-chicago-bruce-clay-revisits-his-ranking-is-dead-statement/
Again, I am not a Expert, and if I misinterpreted some of the information, I am more than open to correction.

Hey Nathaniel that's great advice you gave Dianne, there's so much to learn in the beginning stages of setting up a network marketing business. But if you take one step at a time its all falls into place and before you know it you'll be teaching other folks how to do this stuff!
Man Roberto you are right on point with this one,Raymond did a post on this very same topic a while back I tried to find it,maybe someone else can.Google has recognized the importance social media is having on search relevance and is definitely in the process of changing there search algorithms to make the searchers experience more personalized. And I agree with you, those of us who are creating web content that is uniquely ours will achieve much better results as opposed to using a systematic cookie approach in your marketing efforts. Thanks for the videos!

Re: Is anybody using Google analytics?
Yep I have been using it on all my site for sometime now. I love it. One ha to use something and there are other fantastic ones out there that will tell you where people are clicking on your site, how long they stay there etc, they are excellant and very comprehensive, however for the moment I am sticking with GA will change to more in depth later in year. All the best, profit can often be found in the detail so best get some detail I say

Re: Is anybody using Google analytics?
Hi Gail,I've also seen other tracking applications out there that are excellent and comprehensive as well, but I favor the ease of use with Google Analytics and the visual interface which is very simple to use. Will have to see what Google has in store when they roll out the new and improved web service later this year.
