The Seven Steps To Accomplishing Your Goals

Postby Lawrence Bergfeld on Thu Nov 18, 2010 11:45 pm

First of all you need to identify them by writing them down. Write down what do you want to accomplish by being very specific. Second you need to have a date and a time so that you can start your goal and end your goal. If you skip that your ability to achieve any goal remains a question. The third thing you need to do is to list the obstacles that you have to get over with to achieve your goal. That way you will know how to adjust.

Fourth is that you have to make a list of the groups and the people you will need to get in touch with to assist you in achieving your goal. The only way you will get help if you ask.Fifth is to list the skills and knowledge you must have to accomplish your goal. Do you need to learn the skills or do you have them yet? If you do not have the skills you will need to make a plan to go get them.Sixth is to have an action plan for your goal. It must be written down. The more specific and the more detailed your plan is, the more likely you will put it into action.

Seven is to list the benefits of goal achievement. How will you benefit after achieving this goal? Is my why strong enough? If it isn't forget it.Last but not least is that you will need to take Massive Action each day to make it happen.

Some good ideas about goal setting. Are you going to expand on them in future posts?

Lawrence. This is excellent however not a forum post. It is an article. And your links need to be in your sig file and not in the article. I know all the MFF people are doing it but if you read the latest post by Jason Better you'll note you could and should get banned for it.

Just a heads up for you.

I was thinking the same thing. This is definitely an article and each number should have been a new paragraph. However, there is no rule that you can't give how to's in a forum post.

Lose the link though.
