hey forum,

in my country we're still very much limited by internet bandwidth (we're charged based on how much we surf and download)

watching streaming videos is therefore a problem for many people and will cause visitors to leave your sales pages if there's important videos that explain the product/service.

however, there might be a solution. have any of you guys ever seen the "Brilliant Compensation Online Flash Video" by Tim Sales?

I was wondering if there's a tool that i can use to record a powerpoint presentation using keyframes (and that has an audio format similar to the brilliant compensation video) that will achieve similar compression results to that. I'm assuming something similar to the 'midi' audio format of old (or is it not old?) might have been used in combination to the keyframes concept which effectively delivered killer compression without compromising the quality of the video presentation.

i may be wrong, but i've tried to measure the bandwidth used by that flash video and for about 30 minutes it only transferred like 5Mb in total or something (i think it could actually have been less...)

so if anyone out there has some advice that could send me in the right direction it would really be appreciated.

I would say go on the browser and google it, often its not something another thinks about unless its a need they are trying to fill. Since the US doesn't have that problem that would be a question for other users with the same problem.
