I use google reader to access RSS feeds I follow, however, when I search for my blog rss feed, I dont see it in google reader, how do you get your feed listed?

You can try to manually submit it:
http://blogsearch.google.com/ping

also, if I remember correctly google bought out feedburner, so I'm sure if you are using feedburner to control your feeds (which is never a bad idea) you should definitely get listed.
