Ok this is a general question about Easy Video Player, if you purchase this is it neccesary to have a amazon s3 account.
Also if you have 30 videos with 300-500 views per month how much should yo expect to be paying amazon s3 30 30mb videos by the way.
I really would like to know . Plus i saw vzaar which cost 50/month for 30gb per month bandwidth and has some sharing features built in.
Love to hear your ideas on this.

Yes, I have EVP and just love it. I host most of my "short" videos on youtube and simply embed them into my blog. But for videos that are longer than 15 minutes... or for those I want to use to collect an opt-in or simply to have various social media share buttons on... EVP is fantastic.
You don't have to have an S3 account as you can host the videos from your own server if you want. However if you get a lot of traffic, the bandwidth can eat you alive. I host hundreds of videos with hundreds, even thousands of views using S3 and the cloud server. The cost has never been over $50 per month. Usually much less.

I don't use Easy Video player but...
* It is integrated with Amazon meaning you won't need an extra account.
* The bandwidth is anything to worry about at all even if it wasn't on Amazon
Let me know if you need anything else, as I will be glad to research it further and write a full review about it.

Aha so you can host it through your own server cool, but you say the price has never been more than 50$ per month which is pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear lol. I guess we will see what happens when i start using it. Thank you both of you for your responses.
