Can anyone tell me how to use graphics to frame a video? I want to run a "perpetual webinar" that automatically plays at specific times. However, when developing the html page and dropping in the script, I would like to find a way to "frame" the video with graphics that make it look more like a webinar.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Framing a Video With Graphics
Hi
There are different methods but one I find best for control the design aspect for creating the video skin which is the graphics and function of the page by using two softwares.
The first is, to create the "video skin," and that's the body, the presentation I use Photoshop. Hands down it's the power house of design and have been using it for years. You can use Flash CS too but I'm flexible with designing the graphics in photoshop.
When done, then you can slice this page and save it as html with images. Then I move into using Adobe dreamweaver which is a powerful software to use.
You can can open up the file in Dreamweaver, and embed the flash video within the shape of the "video skin." It may need some coding and testing to get it right, and see it works in all browsers.
I haven't done a video for it as yet but, I looked around to help you at least to move a step further and read up on some instructions. Below is the website I found...

Hope it gets you started for now. If you get stuck and need some help in regards of coding, programming with dreamweaver,or question that's slowing you down drop me a message here or pm.

Re: Framing a Video With Graphics
If you just want to place custom graphics around your video window (kind of like a picture frame), that can be done by CSS (combination of absolute positioning and z-index). That will most likely not work for older versions of Internet Explorer though.
If you want to get a complete video player with custom skin already built in, you can check out http://activeden.net/ There's literally hundreds of video players and other Flash components and prices are very low (and I mean VERY LOW, typically less than $15) I use them for most of my multimedia needs, you cannot beat the quality/price ratio.
