I have screen capture Jpegs that look good on my computer, but after I run them through Windows Movie Maker and save as a video the images look horrible - all blurry and kind of digitized.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hey Randy, I had a similar problem running my screencasts through
iMovie on my mac. I'm pretty sure it has to do with how the images
are uploaded/exported.
The less steps you take the better. Remember the good old days when
your buddy dubbed that Sir Mix-a-lot tape for you and it just didn't quite
sound right? Unfortunately that still happens even in the digital age.
Is there a way to open up the image files on your computer inside of
WMM? I know it sounds trivial, but this avoids an import which would
add an additional variable possibly reducing quality.
Finally, and I'm sure you've already done this, but are the image sizes
large enough to transfer clearly?
It's a frustrating problem, indeed. Good luck my friend.

A lot of how a movie turns out is determined by how the movie is saved. I find one of the biggest reasons for results like yours is that people are trying to import small pictures and resize them to fit the formatting of the video they are making. I find that a lot in screen capture and the important thing is to make sure the image you are using or creating for WMM has the same properties as the actual movie.
For example taking a small image and trying to do a full screen recording with it will result in a blurry image.
Hope this helps.
