Have you noticed Youtube has changed their embed code to iframe or what ever it is?

It's being STOOPID!!!

Have you had trouble embedding vids on your blog, like you paste in the code, go from html to visual and it's gone. If you save the draft might be ok but then you centre it and same thing...Gone. If you've got a solution I'd love to know it... Thanks.

Hey Pete!

Funny I just saw this post...

I had the same issue but noticed on You Tube there is still the option to use the "old embed code"

So for the time being...

I will continue to use 'the old embed code' until I figure out a better solution!

When you get the embed code from youtube just check the box "Old embed code" it will generate the old code and you should be good to go.

The new embed code works with HTML5 and your browser may not support that just yet. If you use Internet Explorer you will have to have version 9 installed to be able to use HTML5. You may also need a plugin for some of the older browsers. Kerry

I just installed it and it works like a CHARM!

I use a YouTube Embed Code Customizer that takes care of that problem. All you need is the URL to the video which you then copy and paste into a little box and with one click it creates the code for you. There are also other customizing options. For example, get rid of the 'related videos' at the end.
