Lead Capture Help

Postby Tashamma Smith on Sat Jan 09, 2010 11:43 am

Hi. I'm hoping my Better Networker community can help me out with this.

Can someone recommend a good place to be able to create or customize lead capture pages
specifically for a health & wellness blog/website? I've googled and already checked into Instant Squeeze Page Generator and Oprius, but the first one is geared towards internet marketing info, and with Oprius LCP, I won't be able to integrate with my aweber account.

So...I'm looking for some type of lead capture builder that will allow integration into my aweber for health/wellness info. Any suggestions are much appreciated :)

Thanks,

Tashamma

I would suggest getting your own hosting account setup.

You can do it very easy and I will help you setup an LCP that you can customize for different marketing campaigns. Email me at mlmteampro@gmail.com and I can walk you thru everything.

Hey Tashamma,

Nate is definitely on the right track about wordpress.

You see, the nice thing about wordpress is if you have a theme with one or two sidebars, you can utilize that space for things like optin forms, ads, or product images and such.

What you can do is go into your wordpress dashboard, click where it says "widgets",drag the "plain text widget" to the right side of the page and drop it there.

Edit the plain text widget and insert your aweber opt in code. Presto... you've got an opt-informon your blog.

Now there may be instances where you'll want an optin page that isn't on your blog, in which case a page builder is helpful, but not necessary. One cool trick in this case is use the Firefox browser and get the Firebug plugin.

This will allow you to look "under the hood" at an optin page that you would like to model yours after.

Firebug will show you the exact html code that the other person used. Just don't steal design elements ;)

Hope this was of some help to you.

Thank you Ilyas and Steve. All the input is much appreciated. Yes, I am building pages to be put in places outside of my sites/blogs. Will look at that plug-in. Thanks again!

Forget just developing a catch/squeeze page - go for a nerve center or in other words your own blog!

Grab one from Blogger, Wordpress or a self hosted one - this is your best bet in the long run trust me. Image
